So this girl showed up at my party last week. We hung out for a couple of hours, and then things started to get pretty heavy in the jacuzzi. After we hooked up, her friends wanted to leave and dragged her away. But before she left, she asked me to exchange numbers. I texted her a couple of days later: Hey it was really sweet meeting you at my party the other night. Thanks for making it awesome! How was the rest of your weekend? Almost word for word from one of gambler's previous articles. She didn't get back to me until almost a day later: Hey Thanks...It was really nice meeting you. I then waited another day to text her back: We should hang out sometime. What are you up to this weekend/next week? No response. Two days later, I decide to try again: I'm sure you've got a booked sched. Just wanted to see if you'd like to go to the beach sometime this week? BTW you have the coolest name I've ever heard before. No response. I tried again today with an attempt at cleverness: In another life when we are both cats? (stolen from Vanilla Sky) I'm hoping this will get a response, but I'm still waiting. I'm wondering what is going on. We really hit it off at my party, she's the one who requested to exchange numbers, and now seems to be flaking. I'm wondering what went wrong. I'd really appreciate your opinions. Thanks. |

While I'm a noob, here's my advice... You should of set up something while you were face to face. If that fails for whatever reason, you should of exchanged some more texts before asking her out...In addition, you'd probably rather ask her out on the phone vs text; that isn't set in stone...But a phone call also help created comfort. You DLV to her and it's best to move on to other girls, but feel free to text every few days with extremely low expecations... |

In The Mystery Method this is called Buyer's Remorse: If I get you right it got pretty hot in the jacuzzi, something she might have done because she was out and in an aroused mood on your party. The next day she didn't feel comfortable with that anymore, maybe even a little guilty. Not because of you, but because of what she did with a stranger. In consequence, she didn't feel comfortable with you anymore. What you should have done is to build more comfort on your party instead of getting into anything foreplay related after such a short time together. |

Thanks YoungMan. I was actually thinking the same thing about her having buyer's remorse. Unfortunately, it was all her who was initiating the action. So I felt powerless. It's really hard to turn a hot girl down when she wants to get busy. |

It's always hard in situations like that, because her turning you away and making you chase for it im sure is making you fall for her even if just a tad, and also, to quote one of the mystery method concepts is that a girl that can fall for you quickly can also lose interest in you easily.. She may have been drunk and didn't find the same connection to you as you felt to her, either way just let it go, at least you got some, now you can move on and get some more women!! |

she's a bitch.. c'mon you texted her like 3 times in 6 days, surely she checked her phone and had enough time to reply once during that time. she was probably only looking to hook up at your party and didnt want anything serious. you just happened to be the lucky guy. if you want her back, against all the advice we have given there may still be hope. but i dont really understand why you would want to. just text her that you'll be at this party and you hope to see her, you want to talk. if she doesnt reply or she doesnt rock up (try and choose a party that she will be likely to go to) then fuck it, and find a chick there. if she does, be pissed off at her playfully, make it obvious that you were interested in her but you obviously dont give a shit now that she kinda left you hanging with texts. dont be angry, be neutral. from here just make sure you dont lose any value because that's exactly what you did with the other texts. for future, when she doesnt reply to a conversational text. dont text her again unless it is an invitation to something |
