So recently I've been talking to a girl in my class(mostly texting, I see her about twice a week for class). I've met her before, but this was the first time I've gotten her number and talked to her a little more. I asked her for lunch tomorrow, and I'm wondering what I should be doing in order to escalate? Should I pay for lunch? Where should I take her(like somewhere nice but not too expensive). As well, if anyone has any other ideas on how to move on? I'm looking to date her, not just a random hook up. We've been flirting back and forth via text, so I've been doing push pull in that department. I'm wondering what else I can do? Thanks! |

Hey man, first of all good job on getting her to come out with you. first dates ( day 2's) can go multiple directions depending on how you control the interaction. Going out with her will really set the tone for whether or not she wants to go out with you again. So you really need to capitalize on your game. As far as where you guys go, I would personally recommend something cool and casual. ( think of it in a sense where you are doing something you would normally do on a day to day basis, but you're just bringing her along. If you keep this mindset it will really take all of tension of formality away. Take her to a good sandwich/coffee shop. The venue is always pretty irrelevant as long as you show her a great time. Escalation is KEY! It needs to be congruent with your charisma and should seem natural. Physical escalation is NUMBER 1. Place your hand on the small of her back while going through doors, touch/grab her arm while trying to make a point, if she's wearing jewelry on her wrist or wearing a ring grab her wrist/hand to observe it. You can never go wrong with high fives ( but when you do it slightly hold on to her hand when bringing it down. Keep you proximity extremely close. Cocky/Funny is next. Give some value to yourself. bust her balls a little. tease her. tell her crazy stories. make her laugh. MOST IMPORTANTLY, BUILT RAPPORT!!! This is whats going to give you guys that connection, and she'll feel comfortable around you. This is what makes girls say, " theres just something about this guy". Its that thing thats there but they cant completely put their finger on it. Make sure you always LEAD. As far as paying goes, I think you should pay because you asked her out..But play around her and give her shit before you actually do pay. ALWAYS remain assertive and sure of yourself ( but not full of yourself lol) Lastly, if you run out of things to say or if she stumps you with a shit test build a little tension with some deep eye contact. She'll be all like "whatttt, whattt??" It can also give you a little extra time to come up something to say Lol. I know my thoughts are a little scattered and unorganized, but this thits coming straight from the dome. Good Luck |

Cool, thanks for the advice  For C/F, I've decided to go with a points routine(ie. she does something bad she loses points, something good she gains points- and the reward is she gets to take me out again  ) but I suppose I'll be paying for lunch anyways, but like you said I'll make her work for it. I'll tell you guys how everything goes afterwards thanks!
