Post subject:  From hot to lukewarm

So basically tried out plenty of fish a few weeks back and met up with an exchange student from Canada - we met for a coffee and got on really well, went for drinks last weekend and really clicked, kissed loads and had a genuine spark. I'm in my first year as a teacher so essentially have zero life during the week, and last weekend was also the start of half-term. So I've been back home for a week and she was in Scotland with some mates for a getaway, not the best timing.

We stayed in contact over the week and been flirting, she got in touch first a couple of days ago and uses nicknames just like a pro! Since this weekend though she has seemed a bit more distant. I asked her what her plans for the weekend were and she said going out on Saturday and reading Sunday without suggesting a meet-up, then said it depended on how hungover she was when I suggested meeting on Sunday. Spoke briefly earlier and whilst she was still quite playful, she didn't sound that up for meeting up today but said she'd try and get her reading done and see. Then she text a couple of hours later and said she was going to try and be a good student today (she said on the phone she's starting a part-time job tomorrow as well) and said maybe next weekend if I wasn't too busy.

I'm sure it was just a weekend where she wasn't really feeling it for whatever reason and she's already shown she's into me, but would you guys say there's anything to be concerned about as the interest level defo seemed lower? I feel like because I'm really busy during the week it's kind of difficult for me to build up any momentum with a girl. I also feel a little bit 'available' as a result of our interactions this weekend. How would you guys suggest playing this one given that I basically can't meet her during weekdays (we live in different directions from the city centre) in terms of keeping the attraction there etc, and also how would you respond to her last text below.

These are our texts since Friday so any general tips would be great:

Her: Hey buster, how's London treating you? X
Me: Hey girly face, it's been awesome, catching up with the family and friends - glorious! How's Scotland and, more importantly, how is your weekend looking?
Her: Scotland was gorgeous! Fab and fresh [a club] tonight and tomorrow actually doing some reading what about you now that you're back in the 'ham? X
Me: Houseparty tonight depending on how productive I am, fingers crossed! I bet your mouth moves when you're reading - I can picture it now! Can't really call at mo but fancy drink or bite to eat tomorrow evening - I need my fix of cute but slightly bratty Canadian girls haha
Her: Only when I read Pope [she's a fellow student of English] and bet you it's completely adorable the way you follow each line using your index finger when you're reading this depending on how we're both feeling after a night out. Eh buster, that's cute french-canadian to you! X
Me: I can't help it if you find me adorable muffin, that is just a curse I have to live with haha. Ok 'cute french-canadian', happy?! But don't forget the brat bit! If you're VERY lucky I'll give you a call tomoz, when you'll hopefully have lots of crazy stories to share from tonight!
[speak to her on phone, friendly enough but says she's starting a job at the zoo (!) tomoz and has reading to do, will try and do it and let me know]
...Her: Hey, I think I'll take a rain check on drinks tonight and be a good student, haha. Maybe next weekend if you're not too busy? X

--- I haven't replied yet but have a feeling like she's cooled a little bit, reckon this is justified? Either way any general tips would be appreciated! Thanks...
