This is my ex, one-itis actually but I ended any contact we had couple of months ago (except like 15 min chat on a street in December we last really spoke about a year ago, spontanous texts since then until I totally cut it off). I sent her text today saying "Next weekend, not this one but the one after, I'm going to 'hunt' for some clothes around the city. Consider Yourself lucky since I always appreciate woman company while I'm shopping." She texts me back about 3hrs later saying "Why are you texting me all out of a blue with a message that seems to be out of context?" Kinda weird response, don't You think? First thing that popped to my head was to write: "'Cause we haven't talked for a while. That's why. Would be nice to catch up." Second thing was "Oops, must've mixed my girls' numbers At the moment I'm reading some Ultimate Texting Guide and just read the part where whenever I don't like what girl just texted and it seems like she wants to show some attitude I should just stop texting and try again next day or next week. What are your thoughts guys? I didn't text her anything back yet but to reply tomorrow with something seems appropriate. Regards, Mav- |

i think your first text was insane, since u broke contact with her. her text was absolutely on the spot, cause u did send something weird. since u covered yourself in creepyness, i'd go with honesty and something sweet, since its ur ex. "Cause I'd like to catch up. I saw this XXX the other day, and it reminded me of you and that time we did that XXX Make it fit the context.. U should have opened with something completely different, but since you are reading that guide SPAM, you prolly figured that out already. |

She's not into you plus she sounds like a bitch, so cut her loose. My honest 2 cents, but what do I know. I'm probably bitter because I just got flaked on lol. |

She usually sounds like that when talking online or through text so I kinda take it with a grain of salt I could sent initial text like "Hey, what's up?" but that is such a cliche to me What I actually did send to her was "Ouch, I broke the law. So what about shopping?" and she did reply that she's not sure whether or not she'll have time 'cause that weekend is actually 2 weeks away. I only replied "Cool, talk to you later then." Not needy and pushy, right? Still, nice idea Jabba. Will keep it in mind. P.S. Still didn't finish this Ultimate Texting Guide. I'm doing a bit of it and watching David's Advanced Series as well |

Yer i think the first text in two months u sent was strange considering how long u have gone without talking. She may be thinking that you meant to send it to another girl because it was so casual. In which case the texting back saying you actually did mean to send it to another girl would most likely make her feel bad about herself and she may not even text you back. I would go with the honest answer to put that doubt out of her mind and just say it would be nice to catch up |

Dunno why but I feel like saying to my ex that I want to talk to to "catch up" or "'cause we haven't seen each other for months" seems a bit needy. Don't You think that too, guys? Anyway, I probably won't see her anyways this upcoming weekend 'cause I'm going away for a week |

Since u dated her already, u shared alot of intimicy. Your job is to bring her back to those moments, make her reliving them, and build from there. |

Yer if you've already had the intimacy I think it's ok to say that you wanna catch up. But the point is the first text was too casual. it is something you would say if you have been seeing/texting them quite a bit recently. But if you havnt seen them for a while you need to draw attention to that in some way, otherwise it is out of context like she said. The first text was like you trying so hard to come across as not bothered and cool that you ignore the fact that you havnt seen/contacted her for ages, which no-one would do if they are being genuine. Now that you have already sent a text that is a bit out of context, she is thinking "that's weird". It would better to explain what you meant rather than carry on being cool and 'not bothered'. |

Jabba, bringing her back to old moments wasn't a good idea IMO. Why? 'Cause she had this old wuss-image of me from when we broke up. That's why I stopped talking with her for couple months. So the old image would fade a bit and I could start from the beginning. I see Your point, guys, with my initial text being too casual. Will keep that in mind for future reference Mav- |
