I'm 49. If I've learned anything from dealing with all classes of women for 37 years, is that not even THEY believe that they have anything important to say to YOU. Cut them off forcefully. Never supplicate or reason with them over sex. Why? Ultimately, in this distorted primal game, she wants sex and placed herself in the passive position of getting suitors/suckers to offer it to her.

Rarely in your life will you meet a solid woman with mettle and intellect, who will actively SEDUCE or WOO, you. Only those women who seduce or woo are the real McCoy. For the rest, you MUST compel them to JUSTIFY/QUALIFY themselves as to why you should devote one minute of your time on them. Women set up the pursuit and surrender game. Under no circumstances give her your number. Just imagine the consequences. I mean, she might call you, you might answer, meet up, fuck her brains out. Terrifying thought! Keep that number locked up like a chastity belt. Am I making my point here? It's a bloody phone number. If she calls, good chance she's DTF.

Or the point the OP might be making is... You give her your number... She doesn't call. Best would be to grab her phone dial your mobile miss call yourself. So you have her number. Then link up with her at your leisure.

Something I use to say when this happen is something like "Why should you have my number when I still don't have yours ?" Ooor "I'm not really sure if I trust you, what if you'll stalk me? Better give me your number instead and if you behave I promise I will call you some day" If she's asking for your number (before you've even asked for hers), it's a definate IOI, so there's no reason why she shouldnt just give her number to you instead.

I think this hasn't been properly covered, so, despite it's really late, I wanted to give my thoughts. When she asks your number, you take your phone number calm (important, don't rush and be calm) and say: "give me your number" while you look down at the numbers on your phone's screen. Just 'ignore' her request and make your own, she won't refuse as she did the same and you are not really ignoring it as it's the same topic. Cannot say what happens if she refuses to give it to you, haven't happened yet, but I've had to give a miss call at some points since they also wanted to make sure to get mine. Thought it works, I think it's not the best and I was looking for a better answer. That's why I found this old post.

OP, I probably wouldn't even neg at that point. Just take the number. If I was forced to neg, I'd say something like "You can have my number, but don't expect me to give up anything else that easily"

Do not complicate this. Whenever women get my number, I write their names on my contact list, then hand over my phone so they can type their number. Next, I give them a ring. When a girl gets your number when you're not making any moves to get her number, she's already chasing. There's no point in making it hard for her with some lame routine to make her chase because, duh, she's already chasing! What you need to do is isolate her immediately when she texts or calls. Girl: Hey it's me Joan. You: Let's go. Girl: Where? You: Starbucks. Quick. Once you get the isolation, bounce her to a few places and then bring her to your apartment. When a girl is chasing, DO NOT PROLONG THE CHASE. Isolate the girl at once and fuck her!
