So I have been on 3 Day2's with this women, all at the same dance cafe.She is at this cafe regularly and she always has around 4 to 5 guys she brings/meets there that are her dance partners (she switches her partner up every song.) This last time we saw each other, I brought my roommate and let her teach him some dance moves (she is quite good at dancing). The 2nd day2 I had with her, she actually asked me to dance!
However, during this one she kept saying "I have to dance with guy x, I'll get to you later." I asked again some time later and she said "Honestly, I don't want to dance with you." I TRIED my best to keep my frame and replied "That is unfortunate." and walked off. I danced with a few other girls, but my head was filled with I went to the bathroom to collect my thoughts and try to plan some sort of recovery.
My roommate then walks into the bathroom, and says that he had just got done dancing with her, and that she said to him "Freedom looks pissed. I hope I didn't make him mad. I didn't want to dance with him because he dances way to close. I will explain it to him via text later tonight." My roommate suggests that go talk to her about it.
So I go back out there, trying to figure out a non-needy way of re-engaging her. I then remember that she had texted me some time ago that she thought it would be a good idea to go to another club and dance there. So I go up to her as she is chatting up another one of her dance partners, I do the 'come here" head nod and I tell her:
me:"I would like to improve my ____dance technique, because you had mentioned wanting to dance at X club, and I thought it would be a good idea."
her:well we would have to work on X aerial move, and get better at Y....
She leaves the guy she was chatting with, asks me what moves I do know, and teaches me some new dance moves!
I neg her about being my "sensai", it seemed to work well. After some dancing we go to the bar in the club to get some water. We were comparing injury stories, and after hers, I did the "aww poor baby kiss close". For some reason I got the back of her head, I don't even think she noticed it. I left with my roommate shortly after that. I texted her next morning thanking her for showing me new moves. She responded that afternoon saying "No problem freedomfalcon! It was fun! You should show up for the lesson before the main dances begin next week. I don't know what I will teach you, what are you up to next week?" We carried on a short text convo. I had another good convo with her on Thursday. I will most likely see her tomorrow.
Questions
1. Although a lot of her other dance partners had kino with her that is comparable to mine, the fact that she cared THAT much about me being mad when she has multiple other guys to choose from means that she views me as more then a dance partner. Do you agree?
2. My game plan for now is to future pace the club that she wants to go to, and get an intermediate day2 that is away from the cafe (and all the other guys she dances with). Also while in the cafe, I will do covert escalation/kcloses. Any other suggestions for my game plan?
