Ok so met this girl at a friends birthday this weekend, problem she has a boyfriend "kinda" shes interested as far as I know, but reluctant to meet up with me. The thing is she was blatantly flirting with me at the party and her bf got jealous enough that he made me seem more so like the AM. Heres the conversation were having on facebook, I need a response thatll close. Thanks in advance for the help guys. me: H/o does that mean we have to hang out,idk how I feel about that Razz because in order for you to take her away you kinda need to know where I live. On a side note the Russian grandpas missed you too, and I apologize about the too much vodka I kinda feel responsible. me:Hey btw I never asked, but are you and Dave together? her:my love life is complicated, but yes - taken at the moment! and love how you are voluntarily giving your sister up to be abducted by me...hahah what a terrible brother. i can't be trusted ! me:actually that was me just trying to get a date using my sisters adorableness. It didnt work out quite as well as I planned. Im completely surprised your taken though... I thought the tall blond part only scared guys away. Now would it be completely out of the question if I say we should hang out as friends? her:haha probably wouldn't be a good idea. but still great meeting you and let me know how the whole pier village thing works out for you..maybe i'll bump into you there. Im pretty sure she still wants to see me, but like I said reluctant. I was thinking of saying. "Too bad I was looking forward to getting to know you. If you change your mind give me a call" |

Your bait isn't very good. What does she like to do? What's interesting in your area? Either you can plow through and invite her to do something SPECIFIC... or you can tell her where you're going to be, when and she might just show up. Good for guilt-free girl logic since you didn't actually invite her. Good IOI when she says "it's complicated". You'll have better odds of getting her out if you invite her out and let her know your friends will be there (she shouldn't bring her bf if she wants you to step up). Your friends can then proceed to leave one by one. |

No dude, that was a blow-off. She doesn't want to meet you. Read it again. To me it seems you showed more IOI than was nessecary, most definitely at the line "lets hang out as friends" and right now she's feeling like her current guy is more of a man so she's not following her urges that caused her to flirt with you. All you can do is just be the most attractive, fun guy you can, and play it cool - you have to show her - through your actions, and your intentions of your conversations (not the actual words) that you aren't chasing her - you're just a fun guy and if she wants to be along for the ride, she's going to have to make an effort. So either her attraction fires up again and she starts flirting with you again, or she doesnt' and you move on. If she does, you just keep doing what's worked. When there's a turning point where she will leave her guy for you, you'll know. |

you probably shouldn't have mentioned the 'boyfriend' (at least not so directly). if you're trying to get her, bringing that to the forefront of the conversation will give her reverse plausible deniability and remind her of why she should not go out with you. better to avoid such a subject and game her more like you did at the beginning, rather than directly asking that and falling back as a result. |
