My mate (BruvaGrimm) introduced me to this HB8 at a wedding i was at a couple of weekends ago. I had had a few to drink so I cant really remember details (not so much to drink that I was an ass!) but basically we got on really well and built up quite a rapport. Unfortunately, she was with a friend (who had been chatting to other people at this point) and had to leave fairly promptly. I saw HB8 as she was leaving and we said our goodbyes, both went for different side cheek kisses so i paused smiled a little, and kissed her on the lips. She was obviously suprised (to be honest I hadnt been gaming her a lot, it was my first time out with the idea of actually putting all the reading ive done into practise. Despite plenty of kino from her, mine in return was pitiful!) but she was pleasently suprised and looked back smiling again as she walked away. I sent her a playful message on facebook and she added me straight away and replied and we had a few banter messages to each other. I introduced the idea of ice skating and possible dates on facebook chat and she seemed really up for it, so i said that i would let her know when i knew when me and my mates were going...to show that I didnt need her to go with me, I was inviting her along because I thought SHE would enjoy it. Just before I went I said 'oh im really busy next week, so probably wont be on facebook, better text me so I have your number' and sent her my number and then logged off chat. She sent me her number and a few kisses within about 10 minutes... all good up to here! I then texted her on Monday and said 'Hey 'HB8', were you back working today? Skating and bowling leaving about 7 on thursday, am giving 'Bruva Grimm' a lift so can be your chauffeur too if you like?! xx' ...addmittely, probably not the best text i've ever written She replied 'Nah not working toay, sorry im afraid i cant make it this thursday, have fun tho, and tell 'Bruva Grimm' i deffo remember who he is lol xx' (i had been reminding her who 'Bruva Grimm' was as she had said she didnt know him..despite him introducing her to me at the wedding..!!!) I dont think at all that she was trying to make excuses to not go but I do not know what to do now. I cant keep suggesting days as I have done in my AFC past cause then it makes it look like I needed her to go and dont have a life of my own... I've found that the girls i go for tend to have nice exciting lives so often find myself unsure of what to do in situations such as this!! Any advice much appreciated! cheers guys! |

Sometimes I get tired of creating excuses to invite girls out to. One way is to think of something cool to invite them out to, if they turn you down, ask them what day they're free, and if they still don't give you anything, she's not interested, so forget it. |

Ok let me ask you this (or anyone else)If you ask a girl out for a few drinks on a fri - she says no. Do you wait for her to suggest another time? or do you suggest it? The way I see it, if a girl is interested, she will either a) cancel her plans such as a crappy time out in the park etc or b) she will suggest an alternative day and time. Thats what I would do if i was interested in a girl anyways |

No most girls will not offer another time, for the same reason they won't call you - it's your job to make the moves so that they don't have to worry coming across as needy or clingy. So you just then ask when she's free - if she's keen, she'll tell you. If she's not sure about you, she'll be vague. If she's absolutely trying to get rid of you, she'll make some lame excuse about being extremely busy and not knowing when she's ever going to be free but she'll let you know. Hahah. |

I get ya... Thats what I think too but some girls are actually forthright and would suggest a time. The girl im interested in would always suggest an alternative time etc. So you just then ask when she's free - if she's keen, she'll tell you. If she's not sure about you, she'll be vague. If she's absolutely trying to get rid of you, she'll make some lame excuse about being extremely busy and not knowing when she's ever going to be free but she'll let you know. Hahah. I guess its the type of girl but yeah I agree with you that generally its us guys who need to make the move. Put it this way - some girls play hard to get some arent interested its just about reading which is which I guess eh |

Yeah that's right. And if she is forward, that is just a bonus, you shouldn't count on it. |

Keep it vague. And please, I beg of you, CALL, don't text. Anyways the exchange should go something like this. YOU: Hey we're thinking of doing XYZ this weekend, you interested? HER: Ya, maybe... What day? YOU: Not sure yet. Either Friday or Saturday. HER (if she's interested): Well let me know. I'm busy Saturday, but Friday might work. YOU: Alright, we'll see. -OR- Ask her what she's doing this weekend. Then the next day, ask her if she wants to attend XYZ event on a day she hasn't mentioned having plans. If she blows you off, you'll know its a no-go. |

How far in advance should a guy call a girl to ask her on a date or drinks/food/fun etc etc etc? I am wanting to call this girl tonight to ask her out for friday night (I am busy all week except friday) - would calling her tonite be ok to ask her out for friday? I would rather give her ample time in advance of the date - if she were to say yes. |
