I work at a pizza restaurant as a server (part time supplement to teaching guitar lessons). I had this table tonight with a 2-set, an HB 7+ (I was too busy to pay too much attention to them, so my memory is foggy) and her girl friend. What I do remember is that the cute one kept giving me looks, whenever I refilled a drink or asked them how their pizza was. I didn't pay much attention to it, but I made sure to watch my posture, body language throughout the night (serving tables has a lot in common with seduction). Fast-forward to the end of the night-- I'm running my charge slips and I noticed one of the charges at the table had a number and a smiley face on it. So, what's my next step in a situation like this? I can't be sure it's the cute one who left the number, though I don't see any harm in calling either of them-- I don't have some ego that I can't talk to someone I'm not interested in sexually. My main question is when do I call and what should I say/ be prepared for? Thanks in advance for the help. ... and stay true to the game. |
