Met a great girl at a club WED night, THURS - SUN, we txt daily, ...we talk on the phone 3 times, 1 conversation being almost 2 hours long. We both agree to meet each other in person soon. Monday: I initiate txting in the morning.. which leads to a date monday night. spend about 3 hrs total and had tons of good convo. Nothing but positive vibes. Problem: she has never called me first. She has never txt'd me first. She has returned all my calls/txts. She just never initiates them. Tue: I decided im going to let her initiate....she doesn't..I end up sending a txt in the evening...to which she responds and and I do NOT respond to her last txt.. I'm wondering WHY she hasn't initiated a phone call or a txt in the past 6 days? Also, what is my best plan of action from here on out? ignore her for a few days or continue initiating communication....but slow the frequency ? Also - its important you keep in mind.... I am not just interested in banging this HB9, I'm aiming for a LTR. So, please adjust your responses based on my goal. |

Stop texting or calling her for a week, she will more than likely say something like "why havent you called or texted me?" and you can say something like "oh sorry i've been super busy, lets meet up and you can buy me a drink." *REMEMBER* - Girls expect guys to chase after them right? True, but it's also true that girls like to chase. If you make it too easy for them they will lose interest. By not texting her you are showing you're busy, unavailable and it will leave her thinking. She will try to contact you and if you guys go out you will show you're making time for her, thus improving your status. -Sleye |

Thanks man....That makes sense...and I do this under normal circumstances. However, I'm going out of town for one month....and I leave in 5 days. So, this presents a unique situation.... I don't want the attraction to die out since I won't get to see her for over a month. I'd like to go on a 2nd date right before I leave for my long trip - so I can continue to build attraction... I feel like she'll forget me if I don't maintain communication ..? She knows I am leaving in 5 days. Should I just ignore her anyway or try to initiate contact (as usual) and try for a 2nd date ? I'm kinda mixed on the best approach since my goal here is LTR , not just fclose. |
