The last few days I've been experimenting with text/instant messaging game, And I came to the conclusion that it's probably better not to text at least until you have a day 2. I noticed that you could actually lose more than you gain with texting. I love texting as much as the next teenager but when you think about it it's not all that great. I recognized alot of good PUA's recommend to only use the phone when setting up a date or maybe to say hi stuff like that and I agree, but heres why. 1. It's alot harder to convey personality and be interesting and funny through text. 2.Theres no way what so ever to Kino through text. 3. It's just plain easier to flirt and game in person. I feel like you'll end up coming off as boring or maybe just not be able to game to the fullest through text. This is just my take on it and I would love to hear your opinions on it. Or maybe some counter -evidence, like successful text game conversations you've had. Thanks to anyone who posts I'll appreciate it. -Apollo |

been making similar experiences in the last couple days  the conveying personality part is very individual though, my humor worked pretty well for example. some of them came back for more in a matter of hours and i see no other explanation. i cant say i got laid as a result (so far  ) but there is potential so if you got the time i wouldnt discourage anyone who's willing to try

Very true, I think for all the time some people spend texting and I mean those people that text like non stop you would have way better progress if you went out and did some field work. I don't have too much trouble conveying personality but for those people that suck at text game don't spend too much time on it. Focus on reality, you can't kiss, touch or have sex through a phone. But in some cases it can help you get to that point. |

Now I feel stupid. This is obvious. I didn't realised before but until you get that day2 things start to fizzle out, so this also says 'get that day2 fast!' |

Exactly! The longer you text before a day2 the more the connection you established kinda disappears. Don't make this mistake guys. I would really like someone to argue and show me some evidence that maybe text game could work. |

I think texting should only be used when you haven't build enough comfort, to reduce flaking. Definitely don't use it too much, and go for the date as soon as you can, kino is too important and you can't kino through text. |
