I picked up a girl Friday, hot as fuck. Partial-kiss-close, she ends up telling me "she wants to go out with me again, I'm a very handsome guy, wants to take it slow, bla bla".

Ok. I text her Saturday, REAL SLOW RESPONSE.

Text her Sunday, AGAIN - AMAZINGLY SLOW RESPONSE.

But, we don't know each other, and she could have avoided me 100%. Sunday I asked her if she wanted to go out for drinks this Thursday, to which she came up with bullshit excuse that parents were in town, but that she can meet me up at places, and I should definately "let her know what I'm doing"...

I think I'm getting side-lined by this girl. On the one hand, she is very open, and says she would like to go again some time, but on the other hand she takes time to answer me, and some times doesn't even do it.

My theory is she thinks I'm a smart, handsome guy, but a little younger (which I am by 5 years), I'm 21, she's 26, culturally very different, and maybe she thinks I'm the one with the losing end in the bargain over here, which I'm definately not. But since perception defines reality to a great extent, she will continue to think I'm needier than she is, and continues pursuing these games.

I've always had straight-forward times with girls, either they're in, or they're out. With this one, I just can't tell... It's getting me MORE interested, and although I want to see her this weekend, I think a policy of trying to pursue her will be a bad idea, and I'll have to wait till she gets in contact (if ever)...

Thoughts?

TEXTING SUCKS DICK

texting is what you do when you aren't man enough to physically pick up the phone, be decisive and schedule a hangout.

texting in lieu of phoning is like buying SCUBA gear and then only using it in your pool out back. sure its a lot safer, and its more familiar but its lame. she knows it, i know it, hell even granny knows it. RIGHT GRANNY!

so do yourself a favour and man up. get a definitive answer for a hangout time, if she's interested then awesome, if not, then see if her sister/mother is single.

I agree with Leeroy. (btw Leeroy, awesome name)

A girl can avoid a text as long she damn well pleases, but if you call and leave a message she has to decide to either call you back and set up a date, or not call. If she calls, fantastic, if not, move one.

Also a long response time isn't that bad, its possible she's gaming you. You said it yourself "I just can't tell... It's getting me MORE interested."

Try to care a little bit less. There are plenty of hot women out there. If you're texting her too often (or too soon) you look a little less alpha in her eyes.

I've been messaging a woman on Plentyoffish (which is a fucking gold mine), and got the digits and threw out a couple funny texts to transition from the messaging on the website to texting. I hinted to going out tonight, she texted back that she would like to and asked how I was. She was expecting another text but I called instead, and she was impressed. She was giggling/flirty and thanking me so much for calling her to put a voice to the pic/name. This is definitely the way to go. Keep the call short and I made a couple jokes about not being a 400 lb. Sumo wrestler, and told her something interesting that I do (which is racing rally cars). I then asked a couple questions about where she lives, and what she likes to do. I made plans with her for the evening, and said goodbye.

To the OP; If she isn't responding to your texts or calls, it is probably best to just move on. If you see her again, don't ask her why she didn't respond, just give her a confident "Hi, good to see you again" and find a group of people to hang out with and have fun. She will be expecting you to scold her. Don't do it, and she will wonder why you are not affected by her lack of communication with you. If she wants to go another round with you, create the attraction and make her do the running, cuz you got lots of other ladies right?

She is definately gaming you dude, you know those girlie magazines where they have articles called "how to drive your man wild" or some shit, well they are finally getting it right and women will now act impassive ant take ages to text back and even pass up one or two date offers with some lame excuse before she agrees to one, this is to get your anticipation up. Its obviously working though isnt it?
