Post subject:  Deleting flaky girls numbers

I have this habit of when I meet a girl and we plan a date and then exchange numbers, that if she flakes out on me, to immediately delete her number from my phone. I even do this on facebook where a girl and I will add each other as friends, but then when I send her note she'll ignore it, so I'll delete her feeling as if though she's not worth my time.

But then I read somewhere that when a girl flakes out on you it's because either 1) not enough comfort was built 2)she's not aware or convinced of your social value and needs more time or 3)she's testing you to see how you would react

So I'm wondering is it wise to just delete a flaky girl's number and move on like I've been doing, or keep them hanging around to have more opportunities at building comfort, DHVing, and passing her shit tests?

What do you think?

How long are you waiting til you delete their info? Also, you only try to contact them once? I would at least try waiting a week or so and contact them again. If they don't contact you back after the second try, then I would say it's fine to delete their info. Also, like you mentioned, you can definitely work on your game more to produce a greater response rate. Someone else here can probably explain that one better than me.

just leave their info in your phone...

when ur next potential semi-serious girl is around.. she WILL go thru ur phone when your cooking or showering or something to see who u know and you will leave it out accidentally at some point.. ... the more girls on there the higher ur value and the more jealous she gets....

dont let her find any dicey txts tho.....

and if there is NEW girls on there after your serious........ well ur on ur own for explaining that one ;)

Actually, now that I think about it, it may not be a good idea to keep all of those extra numbers, I can see how it would make her jealous at first if she went through your phone, but but then as time goes on, she may become curious as to why your phone doesn't ring as much in proportion to the number of females you have in your contacts list. It'll appear as an incongruency, which can be a DLV and make you appear unnattractive to her. I think I'll stick with what I've been doing, i.e geting rid of the numbers of the girls who don't amount to anything.

Its is actually interest not comfort.

I never heard of these being reasons for why a girl would flake, nor can I see them being actual reasons but that is just me. Tho you forgot another reason for a girl to flake:

4) Something came up that she had to take of.

My policy is if a girl flakes on me I call her up again in a week or so and if she flakes on me again I then delete her number unless the reason actually seems legit then I tell her to give me call. If I don't hear from her in a week or so I delete her number.

Check out this article called Atraction vs Value by Vin DiCarlo: http://bristollair.com/inner-game/under ... value.html

In it he basically lays down the psychology of why a woman flakes and how to avoid it.

I used to delete girls #s the instant they flaked and then be like "who is this" when they called but I never turned around any of those girls so I stopped doing it. It is pretty immature looking back.

Now I keep #s in my phone. If my week is going particularly slow, I might text one or two of the flakes and see if it amounts to anything.

It is a tricky scenario though. On the one hand you have the potential for something to manifest, but on the other you might just have a chick that keeps ignoring you 24/7. It can do a # on your psyche if you don't have other chicks elsewhere
