made my mind up to get a date with one HB. Hit the town at noon. Started to get the frame. Became nervous as usual. Had to approach 2 mediocre women on the street and use "Excuse me, you're so beautiful that I just had to come up to you........" to get my game ready for the real prize. Then I saw her there behind a counter. Staples clerk. I grabbed a useless notebook, went to the counter and said, "Hey, I've gotta ask you something, would you even consider going out with someone who asked you out at your work?" I even was able to use perfect tonality by chunking up on the two mediocre women. Result. She said "Sure" and added "you're kind of hot"! What a surge of satisfaction. Better than drugs! "I said now, you're going to make me blush" Asked how I could contact her. She gave me email. Waited 1 day, then emailed a simple hello. Have not heard back. Should I send another? Keep waiting? Write it off and try again? |

Dude, props for the approaches and getting out of the house! NICE! *warning I am going to be honest with you not pulling punches if I see things that I think were bad and praise you where good. Don't take it personal* Yeah... you need to chalk this one off fast before you post another line in the future decrying how awful she was to you when you went back. Here are some mistakes I noticed based on my PUA understanding. 1. Your approaches were soo obvious and seemed try hard, smacked of AFC. You reminded me of the guy that just got cut on VH1. But you did more than others so grats on that. 2. You made the mistake a lot of us make which is to hit on a girl at work and assume she is acting as though her boss isn't going to come down on her for not being nice to you. "The Customer is always right" is soo pounded into the heads of retail reps. 3. I think you've read one or two success stories here, thought "well sh!t this isn't anything more than having the confidence to go up to a girl and use a good pick up line." To quote Lex Luther in the recent Superman movie "WRONG!!!!!" There is much more to this PUA stuff than confidence and looks. PUAs are "Artists" for a reason, they have the knack of knowing when to turn it up and when to turn it off and have the guts to act against better judgement at times; to name a few things. I think we hype ourselves up in theory settings, here, and then in the real world we act like the person on the price is right doing what the fat lady jumping up and down is telling them to do so they don't lose face. 4. If a girl gives me her email I know its over, infact I wont even take it. She has a fucking phone!!! The fact that she wont give that to you and you take a hand me down email address.... = SAD. I would soo neg her at that time. It says your willing to take what ever she wants to give you. The way I try to avoid and will try to avoid that in the future is to have control of the conversation. Open ended questions to open it and closed ended questions to close it. 5. You need to read more about going from attraction to comfort etc.. and the common traps AFC make, which you made and I don't want to go into. ************************************************************* You have conquered your fear and thats the best first step, now you need a game plan before you do to y our self again what you did. GO get a few books do a search here for them. |

Thanks gentlemen. Love brutal honesty. Excellent feedback. Okay, she's written off. Got a lot to learn. Reading Art Of Seduction as we speak. It's soooo Goddamn wordy. I'm 3/4 through it. And although very insightful, I think it should not be read by women. Robert Greene gives false hope for fattys. He gives fictitious examples of mediocre women seducing good looking men. That's just B.S. That only works for us men. We are visual and see through all the seduction and say, "yeah but you're ugly." Case closed. Don Juan and Casanova's conquests are fun to read though. |

Im gonna play devils advocate and say you did an OK job...(If you indeed sounded as confident as you claimed too).... The real problem wasn't your opener but the fact that you didn't build any rapport during your meeting with her therefore she's likely to "flake".... If all you did was send her an email that said "Hello" she could have just thought it was SPAM since she doesn't know who you are.... Try this for the Hell of it: Create a new email account with a name like "HOT_Guy_You_Met_At_Work@yahoo.com" or something else catchy....Send another email saying something short and witty and link it to your FaceBook.... See what happens cause you got nothing to lose... |
