after meeting a guy at a nightclub, he asked for my number and i gave it to him. he asked me to the movies the next day, but i politely declined, trying cat string theory. i wanted to go to a college party so i called him up and asked him if he wanted to go. he says yes and arrived at my house. right when he arrives, 5 mins after right when we were backing up from the driveway, he recieves a call. he says his cousin got into a car accident. he says he's unsure if he should tell his aunt. he asks me if i wanted to go to the hospital with him. i tell him it would be awkward since i dont know his cousin. he says he's sorry about tonight and he'll take me out tomorrow. do you think he's lying? whats the best lie you've ever told to a girl to get out of a date? |

okay.. so he drove all the way to your house to pick you up, he asked you out the other day... he offered you to go to the hospital... i dont know how much more proof you need that hes into you... there isnt a doubt in my mind he inst lying, guys dont waist there time to do what you just described to get out of a date. you know what they do? just not answer you calls/text.... hoping that you get the hint just set up another date, and go from there |

I'm with Dre on this one. I don't think he was lying either. I could see you getting suspicious if he went to pick you up and then all of the sudden bailed out because he got cold feet, but he didn't. He asked you to go with him and you declined it.I don't really recall the "best lie" I've ever told a girl to get out of a date. I really don't think I've ever agreed to a date I didn't want to go on. |

Dre speaks sense - there is no way a guy would go into that much hassle to not go on a date, remember a guy will take the easy option if its there... ...so if he didn't want to see you there is no way he would put himself in that sort of position only to bail. I dont arrange dates I dont want to go on, but if I did and wasn't polite enough to make my excuse over text (which is by far the easiest way to bail) I would just not show altogether. He's in to you for sure - give him another chance. Tyree |

He's not lying. Btw, I hoped you called him to see how his cousin is going. |
