I #Closed this girl a few nights back, called her and said we should hang out this weekend. She says she has a rave to go to sat but friday would be good. So i'm trying to think of fun/interesting things for our date that she would enjoy remember and overall have fun with. Idea 1: (stole this from a diff thread) Opshopping, go to the mall and at first look around but suggest we pick out eachother something to wear for the night. Then a Movie or dinner. Idea 2:(Think this was from another thread) Dinner and after go to a Elementary school park and just play on the equipment. If anyone else has any ideas they are appreciated it. I really want her to enjoy this...Thanks. Edit: Also i'm 19 and shes under 18 so Rated R movies, Clubs, Bars, etc are unforunately offlimits. I was thinking maybe to add excitement to get movie tickets to a pg-13 film and sneak in for fun. But it also crossed my mind that movies are a lil AFC? So i'm kinda wavering about the movie idea. |

Think of what couples do on a day to day basis... put her in that situation with you and treat her as your lover. It works wonders in their heads. One of my favorites instead of taking her out to dinner is to suggest making dinner. BUT bring her along on the shopping trip and decided together.... this is my routine outline. Set the date of doing dinner, suggest making dinner. It's fun and and its an activity at that point not an event. Don't decide what to make. When you get to the supermarket head to the Magazine section and start flipping through some of the cooking mags. They are all fairly simple cooking isn't too hard. The younger they are the better because cooking is not familiar to them. Pick something to make (here is a great spot when you have experience cooking, and I also use my good memory. i quickly brief the instructions come on its cooking its common sense. and memorize the ingredients. throw the magazine back down say alright I got it grab her arm and take off) When your in the store treat her like you would a lover, lead her around call her sweetheart. Act so that people around you think your together, play with it she will go along with it. When your in the checkout line banter with the clerk how she is going to make you this amazing dinner! Get home and get to work, give her some little simple jobs to do but keep control. Your the man this was your idea, own it! Finish up and eat. Make sure you tell her what a wonderful job she did putting it all together, even though you and I both know she didn't do much. Go out for desert after, see the movie then, go for a walk to 'walk off that amazing meal that she just prepared for you' Its a fun date, its different and it has a goal so that you will both be oriented on the task not the 'date pressure' |

That's a really good idea i have to admit. Problems for my personally though is, I don't live alone still live with parents. Also, I can really only grill steaks in terms of cooking. (i know i really need to learn a few more dishes). |

Just follow the cooking instructions  Maybe try a slightly different approach than the above suggestion, personally I've never done it like that - I always have fun deciding with the girl what it is we will make, and then find the recepie, and then follow it to the letter. Get all the right ingredients, and then follow the instructions at home, sharing the workload.

Yeah follow a recipe that's cool too. Just throwing the books away and taking charge really turns them on once you get a knack for it. But you are right, sharing the experience is the most important part of this follow up 'date' DUDE GRILL STEAKS, grilling is such a manly thing to do. If she likes steaks she would be all over that. Have her cut up veggies or something for a salad, keeping it simple is for the best! |

True. In my friend circle I'm knowed as the BBQ king. You wouldn't belive how much 'social proof' that gives me in pool parties and such. Learn to grill. Heck you can go through the same routine, but pick up a marinade in a book. Go out, buy what you need. Get her a boneless chicken brest. Buy a steak for yourself. Have them soak in the marinade for an hour while you chat and sip wine. Have her prepare the salad. Heck even is she isn't the 'chicken brest' type, get two different meats and split them in 2 and serve one half of each. Makes for a fun time. PS, Salad tip: put a fruit in your salad. It's awsome. Pear, Strawberies, Mango...whatever. It's exotic and tastes 100% better then plain greens salad. One great salad is baby spinach leaves, avocado, tangerine and crushed walnuts. Go for a oilive oil/balsamic vineger dressing or an orange type premade dressing. |

i run the same day 2 with all chicks, i tell to meet me at borders books, when they get there i tell them where to find me (usually the baby section) i read them what their name means out of a name meaning book and tell her not to get any ideas while she glances at the section we're in. Then we hop in the CRV and they are always begging me to tell them where we are going, but i never do, its always a surprise, I take them to the ice rink, always smooth, i've played hockey my whole life so I'm a bad ass skater, we walk in and I say whats up some guy behind a desk i slipped a few bucks to and just met 30 minutes ago just before i met her at the book store and to her it appears we walk in free. ice skating provides umteenmillion opportunites to kino escalate and i do. after wards we go back to a park near my place with a basketball court and i whoop her ass in some PIG, more kino, then i tell them to buckle up for a long drive and then drive literally across the street to a hidden path that leads to a lake, kiss close and back to my place for a movie and the full close 90% of the time key points keep them guessing escalate escalate escalate |
