Post subject:  Taking her to the theatre

Hi Guys

Got a Day 2 lined up with this HB8 tomorrow - we're going to the theatre. I realise that from a gaming point of view, this isn't the best venue - but she's really into drama and I built comfort with her over that so I engineered the Day 2 out of it.

Hopefully will be able to do dinner before - so some standard communication - but I don't want the theatre time to be dead time, if you will. Any tips would be greatly appreciated on how I can maintain the attraction, and kino also.

Many thanks

just don't let it fall into the dating frame... buying supper and a movie like every other guy has done for her. As ross jefferies says, "dating is only for women I'm sleeping with."
kino will probably be your best friend to keep the movie time alive

For day 2's usually pick something that's interactive and doesn't require lots of one on one talking. Try finding venues where there is built-in conversation topics.
Movies is too passive for my liking, but since you have already decided to go there, try and make the best of it. Bring some cool stuff from home to show her during the dinner or while you wait in the theatre. I would bring a deck of cards and show her a magic trick and then let her think about it the whole time the movie is playing.

I work at a theater, and don't bring her to a movie. You won' even talk that much during it.

Go mini golfing.

Sorry guys, its my UK english I think - when I say theatre I don't mean movie theatre I mean live performance theatre!

I would say live performance theatre can be good. I would just be concerned if the production was long. I recently went out with a woman to an improv theatre and it was great the show was only 30 minutes and you could still talk to a degree, also since it was something so different it made a decent conversation starter.
