Post subject:  Cancelled date

Anyone have any ideas on how to handle a cancelled date? Obviously it's vital to keep positive about the whole situation and keep cool about it. I'm still not sure how exactly to handle it though, the aim is obviously to leave them thinking 'wow, he took that well' or ultimatley 'i definatley wan't to see him soon'. Any ideas guys?

Since your post wasn't explicitly about dates in relationships, I moved it to the Day 2's section. Please post in the appropriate areas.

The best way to deal with flakes is to prevent them from happening. I do this by tossing this little exchange somewhere into our initial interaction:

ME: *something vague about having really high standards for the people I allow into my life*
HER: Like what?
ME: Well, for example, if a girl ever flakes on me, I probably won't ever take her seriously.

Those two sentences will literally cut your flakes in half. However, if it does still happen, the best thing is usually to reframe it as something positive ("Really? That's perfect! A friend was asking me to come watch episodes of The O.C. ... apparently she thinks I look just like one of the characters on there." --credit Herbal). Obviously this only works if she calls to flake rather than just not showing up. If you find yourself in the latter situation, just call her again whenever you feel like it and don't bring it up or act like it bothered you at all.

If you're still interested, that is ;)

Your boy,

Be unreactive. If she doesnt show up U she doesnt know whether U did or u didnt :) so next week again start talkin to her and be c&F and dont even mention it.

Remember, women flake beause U must have done something wrong on the previous day. I just had one girl flaking on me, I usually just keep talking to them and keep telling them about my exciting weekends and mostly they would hint towards meeting up.
