| Post subject: | Phoning vs Texting |
Does anyone have any thoughts on Phoning vs Texting? Everyone sends txts these days. I had one girl really impressed that I had rung instead of several days of txting. I txted her initially to say I was going away for a few days and I would ring her when I got back. She loved it. |

An approach/question that many guys ponder and wonder what to do. Good topic to bring up! I think it really is dependent upon who you are. Most AFC's don't have a clue on how to talk to women. For the past 20-ish years of this woman's life she has dealt with guys who don't have a clue on how to carry a conversation or make her enjoy herself. The reason that chick was so impressed that you'd phone her is because she never hears that. They'll eat that shit up, let alone, if you can carry a conversation. I always felt that if you can talk on the phone, make her smile and enjoy herself develops this "connection", perceived or real, that comforts her. It's almost just like the play when you first bring her to your house to create a sense of comfort and safety then bring her later and make your move. She already will feel close to you. Being able to carry a conversation on the phone, and women love talking, is a natural DHV and a comfort builder. The key is to be good at it. The advantage to texting is you can take a moment to totally come up with the best thing to say. I contend, however, that it's great practice, great comfort builder and definitely wins you brownie points with her. |

Both are good tools. Texting is better for people who are shy, akward, or nervous on the phone. Flirty texts are good. It can be helpfull to text for a day or two, then cal after you learn how she responds to things and what she likes to talk about. Some AFCs will go on forever sending a girl ambiguos texts and never call. A phone call says "Im interested". Lots of girls a tought from a young age that if men don't call, they aren't interested. |
