What do you guys think of this after getting the girl's number. Her: Take my number, its XXX. So what's yours? PUA: I'm not giving you my number. Her:... PUA: "I don't give my number to strange gilrs at parties (or wherever). I'll call you in my own time when I want to call you. Im afraid it could backfire by making her feel slutty. Of course you do all this with a smile like its a half joke, but you dont give her hte number. Haven't field tested yet. |

What's the point man? You already got her number. Just keep talking to her and then leave after a couple minutes. Too much cockiness can backfire on you. |

Thanks for the comments...was thinking about this...perhaps you are right about when you meet a woman for the first time, but if its someone you have been bumping into for a long time (such as my ongoing gym sarge), then its not too cocky, its a bit funny and it counter-balances the fact that I AFCed a bit by making it too obvious that I was pursueng". So its a way of "fixing" the situation. In certain situations I think it is appropriate. |

I actually will take the side of those who also posted above. I think too often men get caught up in trying to keep getting one up. In this case it can be knocking her back down and staying above her. In any situation, the girl just gave you her number, you inherently now are the one in control, changin' cell phone numbers is not fun - she put herself out there, you win. I am by no means saying drop your guard and game, but transition that cocky/funny mentality to new arenas. No need for it in this one now. Hope this helps! |
