So I called the girl whos number i got, I was pretty cocky on the phone and negged her about her nationality and she loved it laughing about me being rude.

I asked her what her favourite place to eat was, she said she was not sure. I told her I will give her till wednesday to make up her mind or else she comes with me to one of my places. She said ok, and I said I will call her wednesday.

Now did I seem to weak by offering her to pick a place? If so how can I redeem myself.?

Yes you did. You should've probably picked the place yourself.

What you could do now is neg her about the place she's chosen. 'Wow, is this your favorite place? It's... nice.. . So do you ever cook yourself? Because if this is your standard, I'll be the one cooking dinner when we'll be married. I mean seriously, I think I just saw that waiter dipping his finger in your plate to see if the sauce was any good."

Something like that, I guess.

That's a little too harsh of a neg. If you overdo it and insult her taste completely then she'll just be turned off. Just know when not to over neg. But yeah by letting her choose, you gave a little ground, but it's nothing you can't get back. Also, i'd stay away from negging her nationality and where she's from, that is a soft spot where they could easily get offended. JUst take it easy on negs

Yes but you have to neg in a funny way, so that she knows you don't really mean it. It's just a bit cocky, it's not the same neg as if you would neg her in subtle way in your opening.

Negs are not intended directly to be funny. Comedy is just a bonus of a neg usually. It's like a compliment with a hidden negative side but then with a redeeming phrase to not totally blow her out the water
