So I live in a single dorm, in a very small room. The way the room is set up, I have a lofted bed, with a fridge and chair (for 1 person) under, and then my desk chair. So last night, I brought a girl back to my room, and we hung out for a while, and even though we were touchy all night, I never ended up making a move on her. To be honest, she was below my standards and was a lot more into me than I was into her, so I don't regret that at all; however, I've had the same problem in the past. What I'm wondering is, what's a good way to elevate to kissing without it being awkward? Believe me, I hate having a lofted bed, but there's no way I could fit my stuff in my room without it being lofted (its that small). Usually I try to just go back to their room. Anyways, what can I do? I feel like my bed has been a serious cockblock for me. One of the things to do, is, as soon as we're in the room, I put my arms around her waist and bring her close, like its very obvious I'm gonna kiss, and either just do it, or look into her eyes and be like "so what do you want to do now?" (in a playful, sexual way, not like, actually asking her what she might want to do) and then she might just smile or something and I'll go in. This only works if its sufficiently elevated already though, which is not always the case. Anyways, you guys have any other ideas? The main problem here is elevation, because when we get to my room and she'll usually sit in my comfy chair, and then i'll be in my desk chair, and the moment gets lost and at that point we're just chilling in my room. |

I have never heard of one of these beds! sounds super convenient, beer and chicken within bed range.. get this technology to Ireland!! |

I'd try to set it up so she could sit on your lap or something. Make something up like you wanna show her something on your computer. Just make sure that you've escalated kino enough that its not too much of a jump. |
