I searched the forums and can't find a particular thread dedicated to number closing...

Are there any creative ways to ask for a girl's number?

I've got numbers, once by pulling out my phone acting like I just got a text and saying, "I have to go to my next class now, you're making me late. We should continue this conversation, how do you wanna do that?" She then offered her number.

The other times I just directly asked for it - "We should hang out sometime. You should give me your number."

Other than directly asking for it does anybody have any creative ways of asking for it? Or any routines they use?


Sorry if there is a thread dedicated to this. Maybe someone could point me to it.

well instead of giving you canned lines and material, let me give you some tips on #closeing.
Don't ask for her number, tell her to give it to you. You can also create false time constraints and get it before you leave. One of the most effective thing i use is to say "do you have a number i can reach you at" because it would be stupid for her to say no. everyone should have like a phone, so she would look silly saying no to this.

i always use the same number close and works pretty much every time (when i cal tell the girl is into me)

just take out your phone, hand it to her, and say "put your number in here" . dont give her the choice, demand it.

That will give you a fake number or she'll just never call you. You want HER to ask for your number.

all in all is a fine advice, but if u opened the girl, she might be expecting u to ask 4 her number as well... u gotta be REALLY good for her to be that afraid of loosing u and insecure that u'll ask her for her # (not a valid option, u had the ball for approaching but not to ask the bloody number?)

if she's into you, she'll give u her number anyway, whether u ask for it or she gives it to you. the only difference, in this last case she looks desperate, and girl don't like that profile for themselves... draw your conclusions.

Here is a thought line

If giving her your phone to enter her number in yes you run the risk of getting a bad number, how about having both your phones out ("hay your phone is really cool blah blah blah") do the number thing then ring it to see if it lights up, dont even hold your phone to your ear just leave it in your hand ringing.

If hers does not ring then it can lead somewhere else and your can use your PUA skills to get her real number. A rejection is a lesson, its not to be taken personal.

what do you lot think of that?
