| Post subject: | First Successful Day 2 |
I am fortunate enough to be able to get off work early everyday and I am sitting here at the Car Service Shop waiting for them to complete some routine maintenance. Amazingly, they had a PC here and I figured given the solidarity of its location I would dabble in these forums and share some recent experiences. Gaming has been a social successful experiment right now. I will refrain from sugar coating the reality of what has occured over the course of three months since I feel it will give a fair view of what many can come to expect in that time frame. Continuing to be honest with you, these three months have felt like an entire year. Concisely, my social life has changed rather drastically. I have a solid handle on almost every social hotspot in my area. My social circle has expanded and I have become absurdely outgoing. Unlike some of the Cinderalla stories, I have had moderate success. Nothing overwhelming. Just last week I got my first 'true' day 2 with a girl I had met months earlier. I was rather surprised that she wanted to go, given the extensive time bridge; however, that's not to say I came out of the blue. I've been rather good about keeping appearances and contact with the people I meet in a non threatening way through phone convo (text included). Straight to the Point I can be very self-centered at times and last Sunday I was dying to go see a movie. With complety apathy I began to contact the various girls I had met over the past few months that I've kept in touch with. Suprisingly, while I was getting an opinion on what movie to see one told me "I've already seen it but I don't mind going." Immediately, that PUA side of the brain kicked in and I put the wheels in motion. One part even induced a qualifier: "...oh and I am defintely worth it." Movies are clearly not the best places to go for a Day 2. I was wondering what type of experiences (good and bad) you have had when pursuing these type of activity and what has worked for you in the past. Keep in mind that I will most likely have to start with some attraction followed by comfort building given the time gap. Look forward to reading your thoughts, Papi Lindo |
