Met a girl in a club a couple of weeks ago, exchanged numbers and have been texting and chatted somewhat, last night however she rang me twice and we talked at length, she told me that she kissed a guy the night we exchanged numbers.

Now I didn't rise to it, but did probe her for more info, she say's she was stoned and drunk and whatever, but I don't be-grudge her for it as she's single and so am I and it's not like were going out or anything.

I like this girl but I am objective enough and have options elsewhere however I'm wondering if anyone could tell me why she would tell me about him at all as she didn't need really need to?

As I can't see her gaining anything by telling me that, unless it's a test to gauge my reaction.

Any ideas?

Yea sounds like definitely to test your reaction to see if that phases you or not. She could also possibly be trying to make you jealous or be trying to boost her value for you by showing that she's also desired by other men.

Either way it shows a sign that she is interested in you so just keep it alpha and show that you also have options.

You got her number a few weeks ago and yall haven't met up? Why? Are you trying to be her platonic phone buddy?

My guess is that she's been waiting a few weeks for you to make a move so she is just now mentioning to you that she kissed a guy the night yall met to remind you that she's a sexual being with options and other guys vying for her attention. So shit or get off the pot.

There's a scenarios.

Have you been trying to get her out but she won't or cancels? Then drop her and barely respond until she's more wiling to meet up.

You haven't been trying to get her out? Make plans this weekend. Immediately. Call her up and say something like "hey Saturday afternoon I'm going to this cool coffee shop/cool place, you should tag along and lets hang out."

Quit the phone stuff. Get her out. Get her to your place. Visit her place. Anything besides having long talks on the phone. That leads to friendsville.
