Hi guys,
I'm new on this forum and just had a great on RC's texting guide. Wish I had read it sooner, because I might have messed this situation up, but still would like some advice on how to proceed. What's there to lose anyway
So I met this girl on a Halloween-type festival with costumes last Saturdaynight. She was wearing a white dress with brown dots and I was dressed up as a pilot. We were both kindda tipsy and I asked her: "What in the world are you supposed to be? A puma? It doesn't look like anything I recognize at all". She responded laughily saying she was "obviously a giraffe". That got the conversation going, and we ended up dancing and laughing. Eventually we were making out a lot and I got her phone number before I left.
Now the next day I sent her a kind of boring text (which I now realize after browsing this forum):
"Hey babe! Great party yesterday! Did you survive the trip home?
"2 days later, she did respond: "Omg! Such a late response, sorry. Immediately got back into the hectic life over here. Thankfully I did survive, it was a lot of fun! Next year again
"So I'm wondering how to respond, and recover from my bad opening text. If at all possible? What do you guys think?
