So I met this girl at a party about a month ago, for some reason or another we never got talking until about 4 days ago. Conversation by text was brief but fun and flirty. Her response has been quite good, considering she does live a busy lifestyle, works long hours, goes to the gym etc. I asked her out on a date bowling last night for today. Her response: "I'm up for bowling! I'm not sure I can do Monday night though..." I don't want to jump right back in and suggest another day. To me it feels like she doesn't know me well enough to meet up, I don't think there is enough comfort there, how would you play it? Thanks in advance! |

Then why did you ask in the first place? Thanks in advance! Either reschedule for Wednesday or whatever day works for you or simply ask "Ok, how's your schedule then?". Quote:

Why? you fear it may come across as needy? The only thing that comes across as needy is your fear of coming across as needy. If you were confident enough in the first place you wouldn't worry about such things. |

Thanks for the response, loved your text guide btw! Quote: Then why did you ask in the first place?
I felt like she would say yes, it wasn't until she responded that I thought oh hang on, from her point of view there may not be enough comfort here, we had barely talked.Either reschedule for Wednesday or whatever day works for you or simply ask "Ok, how's your schedule then?". Now I feel like I need to build a bit more attraction & comfort before she will actually go on the date, she now regularly responds to fb messages which she wasn't doing at first, but I need help on convincing her the date will be fun! I messaged her this morning "Let me know when your free and if im about lets do it - I cant do tommorow though I bought some tickets to a comedy show when I was out on Friday - no idea who the guy is but should be fun!" She simply messaged back: "Hahaha did you? I love comedy! Yeah I'll let you know Haven't messaged back yet. I don't think there is a response to that? |

There isn't. And she'll probably flake too. "I'll let you know" is basically "no". You don't have to convince her the date will be fun dude. That kind of mentality is already placing her on a pedestal. Your only job is to act on your desires and portray your personality. The rest is like a dance. As a man - you lead. As a woman, she follows in your step, if she so chooses. If not, another will. |

Stop overgaming or trying to overgame. RC's response was all you needed. Now you've taken a girl who was down to go bowling, then played so laid back that she has to reach to go out with you. SHE ALREADY AGREED TO BOWLING. SHE WAS READY TO MEET. If she needed more she would have said, I'll let you know. That was your move to schedule another day. |

Quick update, went for drinks, went well, good text game, good escalation, going to London next week to some light festival or something. Shes invested, but I've found a hotter nicer girl! RC your text guide was brilliant, and helpful, when I put my own spin on it. Have you got any other reading material? |

Glad you enjoyed it. Also yes, Models, by Mark Manson. Get the audiobook, he reads it himself. |
