Hi everyone, I'm trying to make sense of all this. It would really be nice if I had another chance with her because she is gorgeous. Gonna use fake names with examples About 3-4 weeks ago I asked this girl for her number. She works at one of restaurants in same area I have a business. I had seen and talked to her a couple times before I actually asked. I don't like to go around saying I have a biz around there but she found out from someone else who works there. So seeing me in the area all the time wouldn't be weird since I always have a reason to be there. Anyways, I text her a few days after I got it and: Me: Hey there Her: Brad? Me: not exactly lol Jim (so realizing she might be embarrassed or something I start typing something to change the subject. We both have iPhones so as I start typing, I see her bubbles indicating she was going to respond. I then delete what I was starting to write, and she never ends up writing anything as well. Greaatt lol) To try and save face a few minutes later I say: Me: What's up? --no response-- Well ok. So about a week later I decide to just call. She calls back about an hour later and we talk.We had a quick what are you up to type exchange before I realized she didn't know who she was talking to. Tell her who I am and she remembers. "Sorry, I always forget peoples names, etc". Says she's with her brother can't talk. I tell her I'll be quick and invite her out to a popular spot and she says sounds good, I'll think about it but I really have to hang up. I call later with no answer and send quick follow up text with same result. So I don't know what to make of this or what my next move should be. She only works at this place like 2-3 times a week so I rarely see her. It's been a few weeks since I called that one day. What do you guys think? What would you do? |

Be more memorable with the next girls. Also, even if you were more memorable you won't get them all. Meet more girls and move on. If you happen to see this one in the restaurant again, engage her again with your suave persona gained from all the other girls you're meeting. BUST HER BALLS for not calling you back AFTER YOU RECOLLECT WHO SHE EVEN IS. |

B.) Wait. Pursue other girls. In a week or so text this.You: Who's number is this? Her: This is _________ restaurant hottie, who is this? You: Brad, are you the blond (opposite of her hair color) that I made out with a the club? Her: -Defends herself- Qualifies herself. You: Bust her balls for not remembering YOU! C.) Have her come by to see your amazing Johnny Depp DVD collection. D.) Crush her guts on your sofa. |

I should add a couple things I forgot to mention in the original post: 1. She's the hostess so it's difficult to have a prolonged convo with her. She's usually busy/scattered which makes this a bit more difficult to be memorable. Plus her manager is usually watching and gives her a hard time if she's talking to someone and not working. 2. The number was given to me on a receipt paper since her manager couldn't see her give it to me using my phone. |

I'm going to be in the area later today. I'll probably pass by the place just to see. Chances are she'll be busy and I'm just passing by as well. Any tips on how to be memorable with limited time? |

We already suggested what to do above. The "being memorable" part is for the next girls. With this girl you need to dig out of the hole that was created. Do what we are saying above. As we mentioned, start by meeting other girls ASAP. It may be too late though if you already engaged w/ her today. |

Why are you calling? Be decisive and let her know. Being wishy washy is going to kill everything like you did. I am calling to ask you out, here at this time> ok or no. Not let me talk to you a little bit I'll be quick and maybe set up a date. Be definite so that she can respond.

When the door says pull, you don't push. It won't open no matter how hard you try. When you're trying to drive a nail through a piece of wood with a hammer and the nail bends. You don't continue to bang on it and hope that it eventually goes through. You stop banging, pull it out and see if the nail is salvageable before trying again and/or getting a new one. I know you almost caught one, but if it didn't work out you have to recast your line to some new fish. You don't keep your baitless hook out their trying to catch the same fish that just got away.
