Met a girl on a Friday. Date on sat and took her home for some crazy all night fun.

Then on Tuesday I text her:


Me: stop what you're doing look in the mirror. You're gorgeous.

Her: :) :) haha thanks. I have to be honest though I'm not the biggest fan of compliments for compliments sake.

Me: neither am I. I said that bc that's how I feel when I see you. But I will keep my compliments to myself.

Her: haha. You doing some light FB stalking over there? :p

Me: haha caught red handed :)


Did I screw this up for good?

Yes we banged. We did a lot of other things too. Oral, showered together and stayed up all night. IMO one of best first dates ever connection wise.

So as an update she wrote back and we had a fun text message convo where she shared with me about the place she put in a rental application, sent me a video of the place and we joked around a bit.

One question I have is it was a Friday night conversation that probably could have led to me asking what she was up to. I chose not to because I am legit sick and want to rest up this weekend. The convo ended by me asking what the vibe she got from the real estate broker was. She said that she wasn't in NYC yet but her roomies said "JP was vibing". (JP is the name of the broker). My response was "ladies love cool JP" (a play on LL Cool J) because I didn't want to say something like "oh lol when you get to NYC" or something to that effect because I was sick. Then that was the end of the convo.

I guess my question is what could I have done better? I wanted her to ask what I was doing, but she never did. Is it ok that we just texted with no intent to meet up? I do feel like it was a plus because she opened me but I always feel pressure to make a move to ask her out when I'm texting. This time I went against my intuition.

Appreciate any thoughts and grateful for everyone's help this far.

"Hey, let's hang out again, which days are you free?" (Please normalise yourself)

Are you expecting her to lead the conversation back to your bedroom?

Right. I would have asked her out but I am sick and don't want to go out today or tomorrow so that is why I didn't ask her out.

Because she lives in Boston SPAM and is only available on weekends. She was on the bus to NYC yesterday and hit me up (which signals to me she wants to see me this weekend). So had I been like what's up when are you free, she would have said tonight or tomorrow, then I would have to say I can't tonight or tomorrow. So then why even ask?
