I met this girl Sat and talked to her until bar closed, got her number I had her laughing and smiling and seemed like pretty good interaction.. I got her number mid convo exchanged it even fumbled cuz not familiar with Iphones..

I read RC's text thing..

Anyway I think I may have botched it a tad by ignoring her positive reply but it wasn't it an intentional ignore I went to sleep after she text me and text her the next day.. What's everyone else's opinion of this interaction? ( I used Race De Priests TextThatGirl)
Me: Hey Strawberry Poptart I just realized which celebrity you remind me of..crazy crazy :)

Her:Oh is that so? And who would that be? :)

Me:Cute and sassy Emma Stone, ur prolly a closet nerd too aren't you? except without the closet. ;)

Her reply 5 mins after..

I am definitely a nerd, you're a good guesser :P but I've never gotten the Emma Stone comparison, that's sweet of you to say :)

I fell asleep before I text her back, next day soon as I woke up I text her this..

Me: Morning cute and sassy, what’s cooking? I think you should draw me a picture something nerdy (winky face) ..

Nothing stone cold silence since Tue, I'm wondering if I should have responded a little more to her initial reply.. Imma send her re-engaging opener tomo from TextThat Girl and see if it goes anywhere.. What are your thoughts from the experts?

I think you're doing all right... And I think the first message went over well (Emma Stone).

You're getting a little "gamey" though and you're starting to sound like a game show host.

Act natural dude. You can totally salvage this. She sounds like she's still on the hook.

Draw you a picture? Cmon. Just be normal.

Don't overuse jokes. The nerdy / cute sassy things was great last night, but in the morning it was a bit overkill.

I'd say you're fine though. Make sure to through in some teasing in there.

The longer you wait the colder the number gets so I have a hard time agreeing with those answers..

I'm going to send her a message again tonight and see what happens if nothing Sat I will send re-engaging text again..

As I said you were right, the picture thing was lame but being normal doesn't work being gamey doesn't either a little in between is right thing.. I know I appreciate all opinionsbut if I see something I don't agree with imma call it out because normal is not what any experts tell you they say to be fun and if your normal you are gonna be like every other guy she heard from before.. You can go normal after you get to know each other I agree to that..

How can you post these types of questions and then have the nerve to disagree with someone who clearly knows more than you on the subject?

Way too gamey, and bro.. You have to collect yourself. The emma stone thing obviously went well, but what are you trying to do here? Is she going to date the guy that made up that line or date you? You came as over invested in someone you barely know. You think she wants to be known as the nerd girl? Thats what you wake up thinking about? lol Come on bro.. This is how women think. They analyze everything. Being "someone else" is only going to get you but so far.

I say you don't reengage through texting. I say you pick up the phone and call her on saturday. You have a better shot. And at least then, if she doesn't pick up she'll "wonder" what it is you wanted. Instead of "knowing" from reading your messsage.
