Where did I fuck up?

I was texting this chic who was getting off of work and we have had sexual escalation before here's the convo:

Her: You're a lifesaver
Me: Only when im in the mood
Her: <3
Me: I got a cure for your hangover it'll wake you right up
Her: What's that
Me: It'll keep your mind off of it
Me: Come find out
Her: ;)
Me: ;)
Me: I feel comfortable talking to you
Her: Thats good Im always honest and straightforward
Me: I respect it I do the same as well
Her: Good
Her: Tell me what your trying to do
Me: I want to eat it up and beat it up but I don't want it to be a one time thing
Her: So you want a fuck buddy?
Me: Yeah (I figured it was going downhill from here when she asked that question)
Me: What do you want?
Her: Nothing
Me: Nothing wrong with that
Me: Hope I didnt annoy you with the fuck buddy thing (heres where i realized Im starting to get extra beta and stopped txting)
Her: No I'm busy



What could I have said differently when she asked if i want a fuck buddy i know imma end up fucking regardless but I know I probably couldve closed that night if I said something different.

What could I have said differently when she asked if i want a fuck buddy i know imma end up fucking regardless but I know I probably couldve closed that night if I said something different.
You messed up in the bit that's bolded. You were all good before that, but that stupid line of I want to eat it up and beat it up blabla ruined your chances here. Lesson learned. Even if you have a great sexual vibe with a girl doesn't mean you can go straight into direct sex talk before hitting it. At least you were honest about fuck buddies, however that is usually done AFTER sex, not before it.

A good answer to her question "Tell me what you're trying to do" might have been "I'm trying to control my desire to take you out for ice cream" or even "I'm trying to control my desire for you."

I wouldn't exactly say that you messed up by saying that if that had always been your frame with this girl. I'm willing to bet that she's known you for enough time that she has built up in her mind a profile of who you are. She has known that you were attracted to her and she probably liked it. And now you say this, it more than likely shattered her image of you and in essence turned you into a creepy stranger.

Reading this through again, get used to NEVER apologizing in such a needy way again. You may apologize, but let it be sincere. However, yes, after such a line it's very difficult to recover in any way. Tell us if it progresses.

Quick one, before day 2. I use lots of "us" theory as guided by RC.

so it does telegraph a little interest and being playful, when asked for a date, target says she will consider. Should I text if she does not initiate?

Quick update forgot to mention that she's married, but I dropped her for now gaming other girls but I will eventually try to setup a meetup with her.
