Hey all,

Went out with a girl last night from OKC. Girl looks even better in person than her pictures, has a PhD, and is really personable... definitely relationship material. We grab beers, eat a little, hit up a second bar, then walk around the city a bit before calling it a night. All said and done the date lasts almost 5 hours without any real break in our conversation, and there is some kino going on, but it's a little bit awkward. (Not in an off-putting way, just not all as smooth as I would've preferred it to be -- probably more in my head than anything)

So end of the night I walk her back to her car and we agree to see each other again, k-close, and then say goodbye. And... I forgot to set up a second date time. So now it's the next day and I have a couple of Day 2 related questions.

1.) Thoughts on the best time to get back in touch to set up a second date?

2.) Call or text?

3.) I don't have a great tie-back nickname or joke to reference, but one of the things we shared was a mutual willingness to be a bit shameless. (I have cats, listen to Taylor Swift, like musicals, etc.) Self-deprecating humor - effective if done right or DLV across the board?

4.) How interested do I want to appear to be here? Do I want to just hit her up to chat, try to set up another date ASAP, schedule one a week out, etc.

Questions 3 and 4 are based on one of the texts I was considering sending. I was going to go with self-deprecating but direct interest. For example: "Hey, I know I'm supposed to wait until tomorrow to send this so I can pretend to just be kind of interested, but between the cats and the T-Swift I think we both know I'm not that cool. So when can I see you again?"

It's supposed to kind of work backwards, because even though I'm saying "I'm not cool," I know that she likes that I don't give a fuck what other people think.
