Met this broad at an Improv class a few weeks ago. She approaches me and we start talking. I end up walking her to the subway and get her number. Next week I invite her out after class to lunch. We have a good time, I am not that sure I am into her as she is not that hot, but very funny. I walk her to her subway and do not kiss, just hug.

Then we chat more during the week via text and she invites me to her house for brunch the following week. I go. There, I meet her roommate who is a life coach or some shit and is totally into me, it seems. While there, I don't get to spend much time with my friend because she's hosting. Upon leaving, the roommate (Allison) facebooks me IMMEDIATELY. I then accept, and add my friend (Kelly) as well. Upon leaving I should say I am vibing a distance. At this point I am kind of not gettting as warm a vibe from Kelly. Not sure why, but that's me. Then the following week this is our text exchange.

Me: Hey Thanks for inviting me for brunch. It was really fun to get out of the city for a while and that was refreshing.
Kelly: Hey!! You're so welcome. I am glad you had fun. Many more parties hopefully. Hope you're having a good week.
Me: Oh a great week filled with sweater vests and the like. I'm working in CT this week, but lets get several drinks on Thursday :)
Kelly: Oooh that sounds tempting but I already made plans for Thursday. Rain check?
Me: Sure, I am actually working in nyc next week so let me know what day works best and we'll paint the town red:)
Kelly: Woop Woop! I'll let ya know!


This was last Tuesday. I was assuming to hear from her anytime between now and this Tuesday but nothing. What the helllllll could have happened and why do I seem to always have the girl lose interest in me after the second date?

It sounds like she's expressed interest in you but you haven't done anything to make her think that you have the slightest bit of interest.

What makes you think it is a rejection??

She has told you she is busy. Just ask her when she is available, do you not get it?

Girls are not like guys, if they have already made plans they will unlikely cancel on them for a date, where as a guy would ditch his best buddies to just get a date.

'hey, no problemo, what day of the week are you likely to be free?"

Then let her decide. Pick a day then you got yourself a date.

I don't think you guys read the text...I told her to let me know what day works best for her. Then she said "Woop Woop! I'll let ya know!" Well, it's been a week and I'm still waiting for her to let me know.

I read that part. From what it looks like, there is nothing in it for her except that she gets to hang out with a guy that isn't expressing anything more than friendship to her.

You describe a brunch where you are one of multiple people and that's what you complimented her on. It wasn't a session that was just between the two of you. You don't describe anything that was meant to build attraction. And then this:

Me: hey there roger rabbit (she loves carrots). How are you?
Her: hey there wedding singer! (I was at a wedding this weekend) I'm still a little sick (bummer) but enjoying taking it easy. Probably going to pirate a movie tonight. How are you?
Me: still sick! Have you been exposed to bats or bodily fluids? That was a legit airport screening question. I'm great and I wanna see you when you're better.
Her: hah! Wow that is some real strict Ebola screening. Thats amazing you are great and yes let's get together when I'm 100%
Me: sweet. These what's app conversations are so quick (we are in a group chat together)
Her: haha yeah I'm having a hard time keeping up. But it's just so Hilarious.


Anything in there to suggest I won't be hearing from her?? Do I just sit and wait again

The vibe is a 'friends' vibe. I didn't see anything about kino escalation or a kiss on date 1 or date 2. She initiates by saying she is not doing well but then in the next breath that she is going to a movie that night. I think she thinks you're not into her as a sexual option.

Could drop in with a text commenting on an outfit she wore or something (anything) that lets her know you are into her sexually (if you are). "hey next time i see u, u better wear that little X you had on...too hot." Nothing to lose - at this point she thinks you've friendzoned her. Either way you'll find out where you stand.
