Took her to dinner... had a nice evening, no goodnight kiss... took her to dinner a second time... same result...

So I went with a different approach and took her for brunch and then a day at the beach and hanging out in a nice beach town. Solid 5 hours. Got her home on my bed watching a movie, made out briefly, nothing beyond that (she put a stop to an escalation).

So her b-day was the following Tuesday (week ago this Tuesday), and I put together some plans to take her to a show (she likes shows), and she couldn't go as she was spending the day w/ her fam, then she was out of town for the fourth... so I tried to set something up for this week / this weekend and she has just gone radio silent. Won't return my calls or texts (called once, texted a few since the Sunday before last, to which she responded with kind of fading replies). Last two texts inviting her out went completely ignored (last text was Wednesday).

New to the board... got of a LTR 1.5 years ago, and have started dating (or trying to). So I met this 22-yr old HB10 a while back. Took her to dinner... had a nice evening, no goodnight kiss... took her to dinner a second time... same result... So I went with a different approach and took her for brunch and then a day at the beach and hanging out in a nice beach town. Solid 5 hours. Got her home on my bed watching a movie, made out briefly, nothing beyond that (she put a stop to an escalation). It was a Sunday, so she had to head home... forced my way into a nice goodbye kiss at her car and it was pretty powerful... hips were nice and close, etc. So her b-day was the following Tuesday (week ago this Tuesday), and I put together some plans to take her to a show (she likes shows), and she couldn't go as she was spending the day w/ her fam, then she was out of town for the fourth... so I tried to set something up for this week / this weekend and she has just gone radio silent. Won't return my calls or texts (called once, texted a few since the Sunday before last, to which she responded with kind of fading replies). Last two texts inviting her out went completely ignored (last text was Wednesday). I am a busy dude, an I hate wasting what little free time I have like this... She is super hot, I kind of like her and I have a fair amount of time an effort into this chick... what's the deal? Is this a lost cause? Anything I can do to salvage this, or do I just let it go and hope for the best? It's starting to feel pathetic.

You didn't build enough comfort for sex, but were very close, and gave up at the 1st signs of resistance. You could have backed of a little and tried again, in a very short period. Thanks Heywood. Regrettably, I think you're dead on in your analysis. I am a fucking pussy. This chick was a cheerleader for a pro sports team, too. Painful. Anyhow, I am done with it. You've articulated and framed my general intuition of what went down, so I get it. Appreciate your insight, excellent feedback.
