Post subject:  Newbie needs help no response to text.
Hey guys, I'm brand new to this and trying to get better at it quickly. I recently got a number at a bar two days ago. Been texting her today but she hasn't responded for like 8 hours lol. Should I just leave it alone? Or attempt to text her something engaging tomorrow? Like "I'm about to go rob a bank and need an accomplice, You in?" Or I was also thinking about saying something like, "You won't believe what just happened to me!!" And if she replies, respond with "This is way to good to say over text, when can I call you?" Also, is it bad to set up a meetup over text? I feel like I should have done it already, just been waiting to make the phone call first and ask XD
I'm super new to the game honestly, so sorry for being such an AFC, but I'm trying! I appreciate any advice I can get. Thx in advance!

What text did you send to her?

Generally, if they don't reply, it means it's a flake. Don't use the the intrigue texts, it is transparent to any girl with a brain cell this make you look needy.

I don't really exchange phone numbers unless i know it's solid, so a simple/lame "hey, how was your night?" would still work if it's already solid.

Don't hold your breathe or change your Facebook relationship status just yet. Keep trying with new girls.

Her: Lol sorry I was at the dodgers game. Was Fridays dead last night when you guys went?
(I never answered her text from before) Me:Whoah I passed out early...guess I really needed some beauty sleep -__- dodgers game? Be honest do you actually like baseball or did you go for the hotdogs?
Her:Lol the sport is fun, the hot dogs are gross. I go because it's a fun event if you go with the right people
Me:Whattt!? The only reason people go is for the dodger dogs >.> don't tell me you're a plant eater -__-
Her:Lol not quite but I avoid red meat as much as I can. But it was a good time regardless. We won
Me:Woohoo! Are you doing anything nice for your daddy today? (Father's Day was that day)
Her:I always do nice things for him lol. But yeah we're having a BBQ today with all the uncles and grandpa
How about you?
Me:Aw you're a daddy's little princess aren't you? :P well since I'm the best son ever I took my dad and grandpa out for lunch. But now I have to go to class at your school -__-

I know this is probably the worst text game ever. But anyways after that last text she hasn't responded. Any way to salvage this? And we also haven't met up yet since I first got her number. Thx again guys!

Mate, she responding nicely.

Just get to the point with it.

Get her on a date with you,

ask her when she is free for a drink with you. she is gonna say yes or no but you will find out for sure. My guess is she would be up for it judging by her responses.
