Post subject:  Doesn't know whether she likes me... boyfriend on instagram?
Note: I know you guys can get annoyed when newbies just join the forum to ask questions without contributing - so apologies about that, but don't worry! I plan to become more active on PUA in the future :) Also, I have no idea whether this is the right section or not :L


Anyway, there is a girl (Girl A) who is on my bus & goes to my school and we've been friends for like 6 months now. I've always sensed a low level of "good sexual tension" between us, but nothing serious. We're just friends.

However, (I know you have heard this probably a billion times before) I like like her...

Anyway, last night I was having a party at my house. I was chatting and flirting big-time with this other girl (Girl B), on the verge of kissing etc.
Then my Girl A's friend came up to me and told me that Girl A was jealous etc. and she wasnt sure whether she liked me or not.

Because I prefer Girl A to Girl B, I stop flirting with Girl B. (Mistake?) Also, I didn't talk to Girl A about this.

This morning she uploaded a picture to Instagram with her and another guy at the party saying stuff like #valentines #bf #love, (I'm fairly sure they are not going out).

What should I do?

We have been texting this morning, but its just her asking about the clean-up etc.
Should I ask her if he is her boyfriend or...?

Don't ask about the other dude. If you really want to know where you stand either ask her out to meet you and some of your friends then esculate by touching teasing etc. You will know pretty solidly where you stand and you don't come off as a needy little boy like you would if you asked about her knew boyfriend.

Totally agree. Asking about the boyfriend definitely looks weak and the risk/reward is insanely low. Unless her friend acted independently and has a weird sense of humor, the friend saying that to you while you were gaming Girl B is a huge sign that she's into you. I'm not sure if the boyfriend thing is real - first off, who does #bf? It seems to me that he's either a really good friend and it's a joke that sad single girls sometimes do (like when they go out on a Valentine's Day "date" with their girlfriends) or she put it up to make you jealous. Ask her to hang out one on one, preferably something fun that also involves alcohol and has an embedded DHV for you. Some examples that I like to do: take a girl to a Rangers game and get drunk there (can be kinda pricey though), trivia night at a bar, drinks and ice skating, etc. Then do your normal game and see what kind of read you get. Even if she has a bf, if she goes with you and you have a good time and she doesn't mention it, you'll be good to go.
