Text her and tell her to come over she says she is on the other side of town but will come over later. Go to bed at 3 am and she is still on other side of town. Go to a different party Saturday which she isn't at. Text her to come over again but sound way less desperate. Then I think she doesn't want to be just a hookup so I ask her to coffee and make small conversation over text but this makes her seem like she wants me way less. Tell her I can't actually do coffee but she should actually go over this weekend. She read it and never texted back. I had an amazing connection with this girl but screwed up over texting.... Yeah, I think you insisted a bit too much. Try giving it some time, about 2-3 weeks and then ask her out again; say your friend bailed out on you and you'd appreciate some company and that she'll do. Make it sound as casual as possible.
