| Post subject: | Maintaining interest until the date |
Ok I just asked this girl out after talking to her for like a week online and she accepted. The thing is, I arranged it for the weekend after next as I might be on another date this weekend. Does anyone know what to say or do conversation wise between now and then to keep her interested? I've asked a few girls out before online and both accepted but something threw a spanner in the works on both occasions and we didn't even meet up so I really want to avoid the same thing happening again. Any help is much appreciated |

ok i've had this situation, i've had to maintain a girls interest through text for months one time, and of course the hardest part is the first few weeks, as of course, because she doesnt know you, its going to be harder. so one thing i did unintentionally but that actually worked really well was to text her in the middle of the week, say wednesday, and directed the conversation to an interesting topic, something that gets her exited about talking to you. the topic depends on the girl, but many girls really like when you talk about them, say make readings of her personality based on stuff she says, etc. the point is that she has to want to keep the conversation going. so i try to maintain this hook all though out the conversation, but its specially important to have her hooked before pulling this move: what you do is text her on a wednesday night, keep the conversation going and suddenly stop responding. this should be late at night, 1) because by having her texting you late at night you have her investing in you and 2) because the next day you have the perfect excuse to keep the conversation going all day: "heyyy im sorry i fell asleep. (bla bla bla)" a quick tip for daytime texting: if she is interested in you the best thing to do if you can pull this off is having a text conversation with long breaks before replying, and you will know you can pull this off if she 1) takes forever to reply too or 2) if she shows signs she is interested in the conversation (ej. makes questions) after you text her, and you have made it clear you are really occupied with your daytime activities (work, studying, etc) hope this helps, as always if you need further advice pm me! Jason Thanks for the super detailed response! That works because I'm mostly talking about her at the moment.mainly because I can't think of many engaging topics to talk about haha Its Tuesday night where I am right now so if she replies before she goes to bed I guess I could try this method now. I used to do the whole delayed messages thing really well but recently I've not been having much luck with online dating so its made me a little impatient. Luckily it hasn't made me seem too needy..I hope! :L I should mention that I'm talking to her over facebook. Does this make a difference? |

not really, but texting has a social status thats a little further up from facebook chatting, so dont push it on her but as soon as its appropiate get her number. what i do actually is to use an excuse, and whenever i can i get her to ask for my number instead of giving it to her. for example the other day i was talking to this girl that liked art in tinder, and i was like can i see work you've done? she was like yeah i'll send some pictures to you through SPAM, and i gave her my number. i always try to get the girl to feel like she's gaming me, that way she feels good when she finally gets to be with me.
