Hi everyone, long story short, I met this HB8 4 days ago via a common friend, we hit it off immediately, spent about half a hour together chatting and laughing, shared a drink. As the venue was closing, we briefly kissed on the lips and we went together outside. We had a good chemistry although I'm not the best escalator ever. Oh, before that she got my number (my phone was dead) and sent me a text so that I had hers. Outside the club I wasn't motivated for an instant close (both of us were working 5 hours later) so I probably didn't push it enough and this MAY have been my biggest problem (but I also think it was a reasonable, non-needy behaviour?). Anyway, wrote her about 2pm on Friday asking if she wanted to meet for a drink after work (at least three mistakes: wrote for the same day, on a weekend and straight after work after she slep few hours), she told she was sorry but couldn't make it and all she wanted was to rest. I sent a polite and non-needy reply and disappeared. What may have been wrong and what is my best move now? The meeting was 4 days ago, the text conversation 3 days ago. |

Why are you taking it as a rejection? She just said she was busy. Keep texting her, make her laugh and keep trying you wuss. "I'm not the best escalator ever"

I took it as a hint to a rejection as I've seen (or imagined) a lack of enthusiasm towards the end of the night, especially when she got on the taxi. What should I do here? I was planning to simply invite her out again. I'm always bad with textgame, on one hand I want to avoid try-hard, elaborated texts. On the other, a simple "I'd like to see you on Thursday" may make me one of the many... Opinions? |

"Hey, do you fancy doing x sometime in the next week, which day is best for you?" |

I hope you didn't put "x" in there Possibly, but if you ask her like this, you will know if she is interested or just make excuses |

She replied two hours later, that she will let me know because she's very busy with work this week, then she sent a kiss. basically a no, I'll leave this at that, from now on I can only have good surprises... |
