you're not getting anywhere, you need to ask her to go do something with you, be sexual, or get some emotions going. Its just chit-chat, that does not help with anything when you are texting her. you are forcing a conversation to continue on longer than it needs to be. Not trying to be a dick or anything but keep it short, sweet, and too the point. At this point i would try and game her in person.

1st convo was as if you were her long time buddy but not in a good way. There was no flirting, no sexual tension, no connection and you were boring. You went into detail about coffee... What would you think if some chick was going on about coffee to you for three or four texts?

2nd convo was alright but that last text was needy. Already you're asking about other guys without there being any real connection between you.

You need to flirt.
You need to tease.
You need to be somewhat sexual.

If you're going to be having prolonged conversations(Which seems to be what you're going for) you need to make it interesting for her. Keeping it sexual, teasing and full of flirting keeps interest high. Coffee doesn't. Having said that you don't have to always be like that, you can talk about stupid things and shoot the shit just as long as it's going somewhere, otherwise you just come off as needy and wanting her attention.

Hey whats up fellas, I'm posting to ask about some help with text game with a HB7. Met her at work one of my co-workers brought to her attention that I'm single ( as is she) while I was gone, my female co-worker talked me up to her. During our first few days working together her and I spoke a good amount ,we were always around our other co-workers so it was not possible to isolate her. I was cocky funny throughout the days together and got her to laugh a good amount. During a conversation she asked if anyone has ever told me I look a lot like Ben Affleck, I told her no but I'll still take it as a compliment. Then she said she thinks Ben Affleck is hot and that my smile resembles his and complimented my smile, this was the last push I needed in deciding to ask for her number. I never got to talk to just her so I had to get her number in a rush when the day ended. Here is our text conversations, any and all help welcome. I waited until the day after getting her number to text her: Me: Hey ( nickname from day before) this is (my name) , making sure you have my number HB7: Hehehe. Yep got ya! Me: I saw a group of unicyclists on my way to work, they are taking over ( town) lol how was your radio gig ? ( she is a musician and was on the radio that day) HB7: ha YES! oh it was fine. I tried the bulletproof coffee this morn and felt high on the radio, then felt starving and exhausted! hmmm maybe I did it wrong! ( bulletproof coffee is something we spoke about and she wanted to try) Me: Haha I've never gotten high off the bulletproof coffee so maybe im doing it wrong! hahadid you drink the coffee as your breakfast or did you eat with it ? ( yes very lame on my part) HB7: No eating just starving myself haha Me: Did the coffee at least taste good ? lol the key to making the coffee sustain as your breakfast is really loading the butter/coconut oil. Thats really cool that you r trying it out! DID NOT hear back from her the rest of the day/night NEXT DAY Me: what sort of trouble are you causing today ? HB7: Doin some musicy businessy stuff! you workin ? Me: Musicy businessy stuff for the new album ? I expect an advanced copy haha HB7: lots of businessy stuff! so kyle ( her sisters Bf) tells me there was a mix up at work, which one was lighter ? Me: (blah blah) was lighter, we fixed it all though. Very serious question: whats your top five movies of all time ? HB7: Hmmm right now I think.... adaptation amelie I heart huckabees Eternal sunshine Goodwill Hunting Me: Ahh I see the Ben Affleck theme comes full circle ( she said I looked like Ben affleck) you texting another guy that looks like matt damon ? lol NO replies since this text! any and all help welcome.

I agree my last two text conversations with her have been pretty stale and boring for both of us. In person with her I feel like the flow is much better, but I didn't want to ask her out for drinks to soon without the rapport. Do you have any favorite texts for flirting/teasing ? She texted me back this morning mentioning another favorite movie of hers, and I had already decided to take a break from texting her since she no replied two days in a row. Do you think not texting back for a day or two is the best choice ? she's a musician and leaves on tour for a few days pretty soon so I wanted to get some attraction built before she leaves.

I would reply at night time unless you know she is doing something tonight or will be too busy to reply, usually they'll be in a better state to just sit down and message you back. 100% understand on why you don't want to move too fast, i feel the same way quite often. Try and move your conversations towards asking her out somewhere (if that is your ultimate goal here) like talking about movies, then move to good movies out, then say we should go see that movie. Up to you on what you have planned. Just know that if you move too slow with her she could lose interest or friend-zone you, i've lost a few like that before, not fun. Proceed with caution and best of luck!

You aren't building rapport with these texts, you are killing attraction. You build rapport with someone by being with them in person. Mao ask her out..and NOT to a movie! Ask her for drinks and physically escalate.
