Post subject:  Deal with flakey numbers

Hi, need your suggestions after a brilliant night out.

I found myself with 5-6 numbers in my phone, one or two extremely solid, the others not so solid.
The solid are probably leading to first dates soon, so I have no big doubts regarding them.

But there are two girls I need your ideas about.

1) 19 years old australian model, will be in town for 2 months, modelling around. Great interaction, so promising that a friend of mine came and gave me his house's keys to go straight there. Anyway I didn't feel like fucking (came out of a lng relationship few hours before, I was mostly in the mood to have fun) so I didn't push it (usual mistake, I know).
Anyway, the girl takes my number and immediately sends me a text so that I have hers.
I tell her I want to see her for drinks and she seems glad and screams "yeeeah, why not?!"
I neg her a bit too hard, but manage to close well.
Wrote her two days after, saying I'm not in town for a few days but that I'd like to see her when I'm back.
Bit of a cold message, but not terrible at all imo.

2) girl I spoke literally 40 seconds to cause I had to go, I ask the number, she says ok and tell me her name.
I wrote her the day after and she gives me a warm and nice answer (after 10 hours).
Wrote again today that despite we had such a short time, I'd like to see her. Still waiting for an answer.

Those two cases don't particularly worry me, got plenty other opportunities, but I want to learn as much as possible and this is a good occasion.
In particular, how to deal with a number when you hadn't time to connect? The first case is more standard, more like a deliberately missed occasion I'd now like to have back.

Opinions?

I'd text the lesser connections as soon as possible and run some flirty, funny banter on them to gauge their interest levels a bit. Call if and when it's warranted.

I was quick and only wrote a single joke, and once I got the answer, I invited her out (see above).

Still no good... And mind, her answer was pretty good imo, why would she answer and then disappear?
