Hey I am a noob. I've been approaching girls on the street (daygame) this past week. So far, I've gotten 3 numbers out of 5 attempts. I'm hoping to hit 10 attempts by end of this month.

On Thursday, I hit on this girl, very cute and pretty, on the street. She was walking her dog, and I asked her if she knew where such and such building was. And then, I just started having a conversation with her and ended up getting a number. I was really tired on that day. So, my facial expression was probably dull. Anyways, today (2 days later) I called her to set up a coffee date on Sunday. But, she didn't answer. So, I left a voicemail. Now, it's 9 hours later and still no callback. So, I'm thinking she's prolly blowing me off.

I will admit that I prolly didn't spark a lot of attraction between us, bcuz I am still a noob and was tired as fuck. But, I did make her laugh a lot. I have three questions.

1. During our conversation, at first, I could tell from her facial expression that she didn't want to talk. But, as we kept talking, she engaged in the convo. In the middle of our convo, she asked what my name was. I might be overanlyzing. But, usually, if a girl is not interested in teh guy at all, would she ask what the guy's name is? This was the first time a girl asked my name, and not the other way around.

2. When she gave me her number. I just punched in my number and my name and saved it in the contact (she wanted me to save it in the contact list). Also, she said she would text me her name so that I won't forget it; and she did text me her full name. Now, if she wasn't interested, why the hell did she go the extra length and do that? I mean if I was a girl and giving out a number to just get rid of a guy, I would just give it out and end it like that; I wouldn't text my name to him or anything.

3. After I got the number, we just said bye and I left. I read another thread here that said you should stay and talk a little after getting the number. Is this true?

Maybe I'm overanalyzing. But, figured it wouldn't hurt to ask the experienced people.

It seems very likely to me that she gave you a fake number. Leave and abandon, focus on other girls.

Naw man. When she gave out the number, she texted me her name from her phone. So, it's not fake. Just trying to analyze the situation a little I guess. I'm gonna call her two more times and text once before I'm gonna move on though. But, I will be hitting on other girls while doing that.

Thanks for the advice man. But, I wouldn't really care about what she thinks if she is not gonna answer my call anyways. Better to try different strategies on cases like this, since I can't fuck this up any further. I'm thinking about trying some outrageous/ funny text that would be too risky to use otherwise.

I will update this thread if I do pull this off!

Hmm, actually what do you think of this text?

"Hey! I don't mean to be too forward. But, I have a question to ask you. Please, answer it honestly.

This actually worked well in another text convo. But, I wrote this in the middle of a conversation.

Is this too outrageous and dickish as a first text to the girl?
