You're really overthinking this.

If its Monday and you set up a date for Wednesday, its probably a good idea to text her a little bit on Tuesday, but not 100% necessary. If you set up the date for more than a day or 2 in the future, than you definitely should text her on the days in between to keep the interaction between the 2 of you hot.

Is she your girlfriend? Otherwise, why are you paying for her? As far as contact goes, you can send some texts (as long as it moves you two forward in some way and your texts aren't completely meaningless). I usually don't text much, though, as I like to talk face-to-face. Most guys make the mistake of blowing a chick's phone up every day in the beginning stages of a new fling, r/s, whatever and the chick loses interest. You'd be surprised how many women actually prefer to hangout in person and talk less over text. Most of the chicks I've been gaming lately love the fact that I prefer face-to-face communication as opposed to text.

I'm not saying you shouldn't do it, just appear to have a life and if she texts you, send something back. Or if you choose to send something first, send some sort of neg and flirt with her.
