Got my first number close!!! But where do I go from here???

Post subject:  Got my first number close!!! But where do I go from here???
Yesterday, I've done my very first number-close on a bus bound for NYC. During the middle of a conversational piece, I simply took out my phone, gave it to her, and said, "You look like a pretty chill (or interesting) person. We should totally chill sometime." She tapped me her digits on my iPhone, then we both split ways at Port Authority. I shook her hand, then she hugged me in return. I personally believe this to be a HUGE milestone in my PU journey :D

So the next day, I accidentally texted her something that was meant to be for someone else. I realized that I sent the text to the wrong person two hours later, so then I text her, "Ahhhh! Disregard! lol whoops :p". Nothing serious or anything, but she didn't reply back with a "What??? lol" or anything along the lines. Should I be worried that she hasn't texted me anything about this ordeal?

So my questions are 1) How do you recover from a text that was meant to be for someone else, and 2) Since this is my first number-close, how can I maintain the interaction between us so that our relationship doesn't grow stale?

Hey man,
Well first of all congrats on the n-close! That first situation is funny haha, but unfortunate. It's not that weird that she didn't text back, but it might seem needy if you send her 3 texts without her even responding to your first one. Get used to number closing girls easily, but having a lot of them flake/ not respond.. (This happens to me all the time, sadly :/ lol) I think a lot of people learning end up in this predicament often. My advice is wait a week or so then try texting again and pretend the first ordeal never happened. You could open with something like "So I totally thought I saw you, and I went up to say hi, but it turns out it was some mexican chick." That's gotten me a response pretty much every time. Also don't copy that word for word. My version is always customized to either how I met her or something we talked about. If you're feeling ballsy though, give her a call. Best of luck, homie,

Thanks for the congrats, man! :) She actually texted me today, saying, "Lol I was confused for a sec." Tomorrow, I'll text her that I thought I saw her when I was longboarding on her street, but then it turned out to be some spanish chick. I'd like us to see each other again, but there aren't any places to hit up in my town; plus, we already went to NYC, so there wouldn't be a point to go there again. So how could we see each other again?

Congrats on the first one! Hopefully there will be plenty more to come.

When I'm flirting with a girl, I usually try to find out what she does for fun so that a day 2 can be initiated with a common interest.

If you were able to find out something that she enjoys doing, then ask her to take you out on a friendly date to do whatever interests her.

If not, asking a girl to take you shopping is generally a pretty comfortable way to get a day 2.

Congrats on starting your journey, man. After number closing, a good idea for a Day 2 might be to just invite her along to something that you are already doing. That way if she flakes, you aren't really losing out because you were already going to do whatever it is you invite her to. I find success in going with girls on easy hikes and/or walks or a bike ride (most girls dig a little adventure). This can easily be followed up by something else too such as getting food/drinks, going back to your place, etc. Personally, when setting up a date, I find phone calls to be more effective because it is easier to make a connection with the girl and reinforce the good feelings that she had when you guys first met. When calling her, try to pick a time when she will be more likely to answer (not late night/early morning, or when she might be at work). Don't be dismayed if she doesn't answer, I would just leave a short, polite message asking her to call you back when she gets the chance. Most importantly, the road to becoming good with women is full of learning experiences. Remember to keep your head up if it doesn't work out and learn from your mistakes. Practice makes perfect.
