Post subject:  Replies to Text Message then no longer gives any news

I'm have a few troubles with a girl (she's 31 i'm 27) who I've gone on a number of dates and seen at least 1-2x per week for the past month.

We generally text quite a bit and went out on Monday evening. That date went really well and we texted each other on our ways home.

The following morning (Tuesday) she texts me saying she hopes I'm not too tired and once again says she had a really good time.

Tuesday evening I send her a message asking if she had a good day how she was doing. She replied within two minutes saying that yes she had a really good day, had to walk her dog and was coming back.

Since then I haven't heard anything from her, which is somewhat weird as she normally doesn't go a day or two without texting me.

I know I can freeze her out and wait for her to come back, however she had said she was looking forward to coming over to my place and cooking xmas dinner for myself and my dad (she is alone for xmas and had initially invited us over to hers until a friend cancelled on her). She was the one who suggested all of this and didn't seem uncomfortable about meeting my old man.

What should I do regarding this situation. Do I contact her tomorrow to try to organize the meal logistics and find out if she is still coming or wait the off chance that she gets back to me ?

It just seems unexpected compared to what I've had with her until now (quick replies to messages, high levels of interest). I can't determine whether this is a shit test, her being afraid of commitment, or something else in her life.

Give her a call.

Remember, you can act tough and freeze out, however by giving off the signal: "I don't care," she has to ask herself: "If he doesn't care, why should I care?"

If she truly is afraid of commitment, only way you can find out is calling her on the phone and asking: "Hey chick. My old man is waiting for christmas dinner. And the christmas dinner isn't going to cook itself, and I ain't no chick."
