Hey guys,
im in an interesting situation,
This girl and I first meet a few months ago and have seemed to hit it off with flirting and playing silly games almost instantly.
After we meet, she added me on Facebook. I only ended up messaging her about a month afterwards, which resulted in the flirtatious banter carrying on almost instantaneously. After a couple weeks of on and off again texting and Facebooking, she ended up coming to one of my parties. The party ended up going to town clubbing where we had a great time. It ended with a kiss close. (Sat night)
I then fucked it up my messaging her the next day saying that it was fun to hang out. which ended up turning into a normal conversation.
On the monday night I messaged her again (dumb move) which lasted a hour or so.
Then on the tuesday night she ended up messaging me which ended up with her saying that I should come to this gathering of mutual friends at her house, (stupidly) I agreed strait away, (should have played it out a bit more) after a bit more of a convo about what was happening with the gathering she said

i made out with you coz i was drunk. and your and my friends kept trying to get us together o.o
stupid friends "
I found out today that she likes another guy, who I reckon I could out game. What do you think I should do about this situation? I thought of some possibilities about this gathering.
-Go and act like nothing has happend.
-Go and be the life of the party which could be possible
-Go and try flirt with her (the other guy could be there)
-text her saying that I cant make it and leave it at that
- or try one of these which I think could work better
1) text her saying that I ended up making other plans and can't make it.
or
2) not bother texting her that night and text her the next day or couple days later saying "Hey I completely forgot about the gathering the other day I ended up getting a text from a old mate Melissa saying she wanted to hang" The story would be compleatly false but she doesn't need to know that
or
3) Ignore it and wait untill she messages me (which may or may not happen) then come up with the chick mate hang out story.
On the other note I have a good guy mate going who could just say like oh "I think hes gone to hang out with some chick tonight"
What do you guys think.
