Post subject:  Text help needed quick!! Interesting problem about meetup...
I've run into this issue a few times where I'm texting a girl and when I suggest a meetup she gives a vague response or changes the subject.

Perfect example today with a girl I had a SNL with but didn't really build a lot of rapport with (had to leave early for work). We've been texting for a few days and when I suggested a meetup and asked when she was free she was like "Wednesday maybe". I went on regardless and asked her if 7:30 suited her and her next reply was her talking what she did that day (which was quite fun to be fair :) ) but completely ignoring the question.

So, my question is: how best to handle this?

Take the hint, be savvy and back off, build some more attraction/comfort over text and then try again
OR
Be dominant and ask her again (could piss her off and seem needy)
OR
Something else


I'm thinking maybe something like: reply with comments about what she said and then bust her on the flaking, ie. "sounds like a fun day blah blah something funny. about wednesday if you dont confirm im gonna have to invite my fifth choice instead ;)"

Anyways, interested in your collective wisdom as always! :)

Any help much appreciated.

take control and lead

if she isn't saying no, give her exact details and just leave it at that "wednesday meet me at xxx at 6:00"

Lead. Dont ask her when she is free. Tell her when and where she is meeting you.

OR

if you dont feel comfortable just demanding ...(and being alpha)

a mid way compromise would be " Your *insert shit she did that day* sound kinda fun, if you can pull that stuff of, maybe you'll make it from "random acquaintance" up into "minor friend" With me ;) So where are you taking me wednesday? Best not go and let yourself down now ;)"

Pick one, go with it, be alpha, lead. She says no, freeze her out, dont change your existing plans to fit around her. dont be her bitch.

It's amazing, isn't it. How many times have I said this? You don't build enough rapport and she won't go out with you on a date. She won't answer her phone or texts. She won't kiss you. She won't let you escalate. She won't go back to your home. It's never going to change.

There's no magic phraseology here that is going to make her want to go out with you. You hit a sticking point, which is very common. A problem in one area of your routine is indicative of flaw in a previous area of your routine. Write that down.

Instead of trying to get all cute and clever, just go back to where you fucked up and start from there. Sounds like you inadvertently did that. She kind of led you into doing it anyway, basically giving you the hint that she needs to be a little more comfortable with you and build rapport and trust before she'll go one on one and meet you for a date.

Thanks for the replies guys. I tried the alpha thing and no reply... well you win some you lose some.

I had already f**ked her.

But yes I probably should have built more rapport when I was in bed with her after the deed was done. Best place for building rapport IMO ;)

Update on this: she got back to me eventually and we met up on Wednesday. She had just been busy. So it worked. Thanks for the advice guys.
