F-Close first date...2nd date flake

Post subject:  F-Close first date...2nd date flake
I f-closed hb8 on first date last week. We had a 2nd date set up for today. She texts this afternoon saying "I have to cancel, sorry". About 30 mins before we were to meet I sent a text saying, **I'll see how you'll make it up to me before I pass judgment"

No response yet.

This person brings me work to my office about once every 1-2 weeks.

At this point I would guess to wait until she contacts me before trying again. Any pointers for when I run into her at work? Do you call her out, or pretend like it never happened?

I wouldn't sweat it. You know you are going to see her again. Go NC till you do. She is probably a slut with lots of issues/guys in her sphere. Let her come to you.

So last night (a little over a day later) she texts me, but I have not responded yet. Since she flaked without even trying to come up with an excuse, how long should I wait before contacting her agin? If I try and set something up right away it is always possible she could easily flake..since she has not had time to learn her lesson.

Blow off any past shit, re-open with a humorous message, and rebuild comfort before asking out again

I figured she flaked because earlier in the week she was concerned if I had pulled out in time. I let her know that I had. I think I'll take that advice and just go back in and rebuild before asking out again.
