Hey guys, Need some advice from y'all on this story.. I'm a longtime PUA lurker, but still an AFC, really. There's so many things I still can't figure out. Early last week: So I met this HB6 on OKC, plain-ish but cute accountant. Chatted and number-closed soon enough. Texted for a few days, she wasn't a great texter but replied to all of my texts, laughed and participated in the jokes, etc. Then I asked her out to dinner and drinks and she gladly accepted. Last Friday: Got dinner at a popular place downtown which she'd never been to, then bounced for a walk on the bridge. She was a little quiet (her nerdy mathematical nature) but still good to talk to. Kino'ed a bit and kissed her on the cheek, at which point she herself offered the k-close. We kissed for a long time. She seemed quite into me, held my hand walking back from the bridge and kept touching me as we got more drinks. Kept making vague future plans (concert next month, etc.) and asked me "when will I see you again?" Another make out in the parking lot at the end. Only mistake I made was mentioning i post funny statuses on facebook, so she whipped her phone out and added me. I was forced to accept her friend request. If she goes deep down in my profile she'd notice some lies (like the dates when the OKC photos were taken). Last Saturday - today (Tuesday): Since then, however, she has become very silent at texting, and has flat out not responded to some texts. I kept trying to be cool and not bring up the k-close (texted stuff like "how was the game" and not stuff like "hey sexy lips"), but no use. Yesterday, she responded by saying "been very busy, lot of homework. You?" at which point I stopped texting. Is this "buyer's remorse?" or something else? Or did she see something on fb that she didn't like? I'm totally confused here. Is she a lost cause at this point or can I get another date? What should I do - keep texting some more, directly ask for a date coming weekend, let her go? An analysis is much appreciated cuz I'd like to understand the flow here. I have another first date from OKC coming up too! Thanks a lot for your replies in advance! Attrax. |

Could be several things. But you seriously need to quit giving a shit. It seems like you are initiating again and again. I will only initiate once a day with a girl, max. I wouldn't have accepted her on FB, particularly if you knew you had some questionable material. She would have wondered why? Does he like me? etc. And tried to qualify herself to you. It could be buyer's remorse. It could be she had another date lined up Saturday. But seriously, you had a date on Friday. You should be happy with that, wait till next Tuesday or Wednesday, and see if she would be down to do something later in the week. |

"We kissed for a long time" Never do that on a first date. You aren't a challenge for her anymore. Always leave her wanting more. |

Thanks for the replies, guys. Quote: It seems like you are initiating again and again. I will only initiate once a day with a girl, max.
That's what I did, not more than one initiation per day. But she either sent a dull reply or ignored it. Since her last dull reply, I haven't texted for the last two days.Quote: You should be happy with that, wait till next Tuesday or Wednesday, and see if she would be down to do something later in the week. So I should wait until next Tuesday or Wednesday, you think? Let this weekend go by without trying to set anything up? I understand not giving a shit, but I somehow also feel like she's expecting me to behave in a certain way to open up again. Maybe I'm deluded |
