| Post subject: | Trying to set up a date |
Ok I met this girl while out. Added her on facebook and asked her for a date. Convo went like this: ME: Ive just realised who you are. Your the girl I met at venue, your half Chilean right? You were very interesting and I never even asked you for your number. Id like to get to know you more. Let me take you out sometime. Pablo x ME a week later: Are you not even curious as to where I would take you? Your no fun! HER:i did reply back.. haha thats funny you never got it bloody weather messes up my Facebook. i work pretty much everyday so it may be hard for me to definitely book one day you know... i could try though. ME:That was close! You nearly missed out!! Im pretty busy too but Im free on Sundays and monday/tuesday evenings. Whats your favourate flavour ice cream or would you prefer pasta? x HER: i love bubblegum cotton candy and toffee. but i'll have to look up when I'm available. So what should my response be? She was interested when we met in the venue and It went very well. I didnt game her on anything on facebook first, just asked for a date so comfort was low. Dont know If I should build comfort then ask for a specific date or what. Thanks. |

Well said. It would also make sense seeing as I said 'Let me take you out' as my first message. Rather than 'Can I take you out?'. So to reframe it: You have a strange taste! Im going to the pier this sunday. Meet me there at 7pm and we'll go for a walk and have ice cream. That better? |

i would even remove the "let", you're still putting too much emphasis on HER. "i'm taking you out."It would also make sense seeing as I said 'Let me take you out' as my first message. Rather than 'Can I take you out?'. So to reframe it: You have a strange taste! Im going to the pier this sunday. Meet me there at 7pm and we'll go for a walk and have ice cream. That better? i would go with your reframe. sounds pretty solid, except i would remove the "walk and ice cream" part. it's supposed to be mysterious. you can go with "i'll have a surprise for you", that one's pretty good. i use it sometimes. |

Spot on. Telling gives off a much more confident personality, one girl text back when saying "you're very confident arent you?"Make her live in your reality! Your the one to be chased. Not her! |
